Biden targets Amish farmer with armed raid and $300,000 fine… – CITIZEN FREE PRESS Miller’s Organic Farm is located in the remote Amish village of Bird-in-Hand, Pennsylvania. The farm supplies everything from grass-fed beef and cheese, to raw milk and organic eggs, to dairy from grass-fed water buffalo and all types of produce, all to roughly 4,000 private food club members who pay top dollar for high quality whole food. The private food club members appreciate their freedom to get food from an independent farmer that isn’t processing his meat and dairy at U.S. Department of Agriculture facilities, which mandates that food be prepared in ways that Miller’s Organic Farm believe make it less nutritious. Amos Miller, the farm’s owner, contends that he’s preparing food the way God intended — but the U.S. government doesn’t see things that way. They recently sent armed federal agents to the farm and demanded he cease operations. The government is also looking to issue more than $300,000 in fines — a request so steep, it would put the farm out of business. There’s this farmer named Amos Miller and he’s been farming for 25 years. No electricity, no fertilizer, no gasoline. He has really, really impressive crop yields using only the only the oldest of methods, totally organic. He has milk, he has beef, he has different types of sheep. He has chicken, all types of vegetables. And he has a private buyers club of about 4,000 people all across the country that pay him top dollar for his food It's amazing these people have been leaving this way for years and in most cases are a lot healthier than the rest of us. But yet once again our Gov't thinks it knows best. We've actually have been buying a lot of our meats, dairy and vegetables this way for the last few years here in Florida from local farmers
Your fake newz is skipping the part where this guy was traced to a listeria outbreak (including at least 1 fatality, in FL no less), and the USDA has been investigating his farm since 2017. I guess Trump must have been personally after him too! Must be a helluva guy to attract the personal attention of 2 different Presidents.
Wow a couple of cases with 4000 customers, and your worried. Yet people like yourself see no issues with the gov't vaccines
It's It's not bad. There's always a chance for food to spoil or cause sickness. Hell I've gotten food poisoning several times from Gov't approved food
Legal case against this "poor farmer" began back in 2017 under President Trump. Unsanitary practices, listeria, etc.
Taking precautions against a deadly pandemic that has killed millions worldwide is not being scared, it’s called being smart. Especially when said vaccine has almost non existent side effects. Right wingers are so cute with how triggered they get by others getting the shot. You don’t have to get it, but stop acting like you’re so much higher and mightier than those that do, lol.
I wouldn't be scared at all, that's my point. And yes, If I lived there, I would chow on a thick all-natural juicy steak.
So, the same people who claim Biden doesn't know what day it is also think he's personally trying to take down a small rural farm?
This is child's play. Wait until the new tax and spend bill on farming kicks in on January 1, 2023, see in the mid 500s in the bill. The socialists in Washington will have the US starving like Sri Lanka before it's over. Farmers in the Netherlands are making progress while still not winning.
Farmer's own lawyer Steven LaFuente disputes the Tucker Carlson version Conservatives Milk Story of Amish Farm Tied to Fatal Listeria Outbreak
Well if conservatives want to describe anytime law enforcement comes to your house as an "armed raid" then I wont stop you
I’m not “worried” either about this guys products or the government response. Nor do I take issue with Farmers markers. I’m guessing the only reason this is at issue here is the guy is not exactly just doing a “farmers market”, he’s shipping milk all over the place. A.K.A. doing Interstate commerce. I guess if you are going to that you better not kill one of your customers while flaunting the rules.
How does someone get outraged at a food producer being shut down for repeated lack of compliance with food safety measures? 3 people died from listeria from an ice cream manufacturer a few years back. Want to take a guess at how many would be dead if we didn't take food safety and quality assurance seriously?
I get that. I guess I look at it as those those who are ordering milk probably are living pretty close to this person if not that would be a big chance yes. I would imagine they pack it in a cooler and ship it with dry ice. This is how we get some of our meat
