More men than women have that view, but yes some, mostly religious women have that view. I’m quite confident that push come to shove a subset of those women would get an abortion if they needed one in spite of their “beliefs”. I don’t have numbers but I suspect a large share, maybe a majority of women who oppose abortion after conception are older and are in no danger of getting pregnant. People have more conviction about beliefs when forcing them on someone else.

It is a religious rule being forced on everyone due to religious belief. Women forced by the government to have babies. That seems pretty Taliban like to me. It is one thing to oppose all abortion due to religion, it is another to force that view on all.
