You are assuming the worst possible thing about Garland and the best possible thing about Trump. I think one of these men deserves respect and the other one is a scuzball. Trump has always thought that anything he touched belonged to him. This is not the case. Garland has always acted within the law.

 

Not gong to argue that he comes off that way. With that said…he is not representing the Church. And he has done more for the things you believe in than any President in see decades. All while not asking you to act like him.

You can make the same argument for the other side. In fact it is worse when you consider some of the policies they want to push.

I have to say the religious right embrace of Trump is one of the most damning indictments of American Christianity I have seen.

 

Apparently because trump kept obstructing the archive people and was belligerent towards requests for him to turn the documents over. Who among us would have a hard time believing that kind of attitude from trump?

Again and again, he reacted with a familiar mix of obstinance and outrage, causing some in his orbit to fear he was essentially daring the FBI to come after him.

In a May 10 letter to Trump lawyer Evan Corcoran that was released Tuesday, acting archivist Debra Steidel Wall outlined weeks of resistance that followed the April 12 email. Trump tried to delay and thwart the FBI’s review of the records he had turned over to the Archives in January, Steidel Wall wrote, despite a finding by the Justice Department that the records included 100 classified documents comprising 700 pages of material, some of it extraordinarily sensitive information related to secret operations and programs with very limited access, on a need-to-know basis.
