I hope you are correct, but there’s a reason DeSantis always confidently predicts reversal. I’m sure judge Pryor’s clerks will view it objectively if she hasn’t been hacked

I haven't evaluated the procedural issues in the employer case, but I'm confident Stop WOKE's education provision as applied to universities and colleges will be struck down in the N.D. of Fla. and remain struck down in the Eleventh. The only panel majority I could see coming to a different result is Pryor and Lagoa. But I'm not confident even those two circus clowns would uphold it.

So we'll see on this case (the employer case). The Eleventh hasn't been willing to go as far as the Fifth Circuit so far in ignoring the Constitution when it conflicts with their politics (for example, the 11CA affirmed striking down DeSantis's social media "censorship" bill).

They have too many Supreme Court and prior panel decisions to try to distinguish to overrule this decision. Won’t happen. This law was DOA. Judge has it absolutely right. The law is backward. Private citizens can sanction speech and the state cannot. Not can the state punish private citizens for speaking. This ends our argument about Citizens United too. Critical that corporations and entities have free speech too! I told you so! @pkaib01 needs to revisit his like because of my edit after he posted

DeSantis now being sued by prosecutor. Will his disciples care if he continues to lose in court?

Suspended Florida prosecutor sues Gov. Ron DeSantis to get his job back

Warren filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court, saying that the governor violated his First Amendment right to freedom of speech. Although he spoke in favor of abortion rights and gender-affirming medical care, Warren had not taken any action on those issues and his office had no cases pending. Warren was twice elected as state attorney, and Warren says DeSantis violated his right to freedom of speech and by his actions overturned an election.

I agree on the First Amendment issues. It's classic viewpoint discrimination. DOA. The question for me is whether a partisan Eleventh Circuit panel could figure some procedural out to reverse Judge Walker on to avoid getting to the merits on the employer provision. I haven't studied that case enough to know the answer. It shouldn't have that sort of out in the education challenge that was recently filed.

Not a chance. Not after hearing all the whining about the lost 2020 election and seeing the Jan 6 disgrace.

Sorry, can't put them on the shelves. They include pronouns, instruct on homosexuality, and mention racism.

DeSantis announces 20 arrested for voter fraud

    FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. —

"Gov. Ron DeSantis stood in front of deputies Thursday in a room where his staff handed out signs that read, "my vote counts,” and announced that 20 people have been arrested and charged with voter fraud."

Of course, the very few cases of voter fraud should be dealt with according to the law.

But 20 cases out of millions of votes cast???

This makes it sound like these are all people that thought they were legally allowed to vote, and the elections officials allowed to vote. Five years in prison for believing the local election officials when they said you could vote? That seems wrong to me.

    20 out of 10,965,776.

You get that "widespread" fraud, Ronnie! Well worth the nearly $4 million taxpayer dollars that could have gone to nearly anything else to help your underpaid state. Definitely looking out for the little guys and regular gals.
