IMO, they're probably testing the waters to see how this piece scores with some target demographics. If it scores well, we'll see more. Also IMO, but after they've spent so much time peddling lies and untruths based on whatever MAGA nation wanted to hear, I suspect this will go the way of Google Glass, and soon most of us will forget this attempt was ever made.
They r been slowly moving away from Trump for a while. He blew up at them a few weeks ago when they didn’t kiss the tiny ring. I think their end game is 2 fold. If there isn’t some competition going into 2024 their ratings will stink. And there is a real threat to a whole host of things including independent journalism, even theirs, if he gets another 4 years. I also think they are trying to set up a defense for the dominion trial by saying “look, we aren’t blind sycophants, we can criticize him when it’s valid”. And then there is concentration risk. If they pour all their eggs into his basket and he doesn’t run or gets convicted, they got nothing.

Genuinely surprised considering it's the network of Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham. On the other hand if the opinion is limited to text on their website rather than as on the air commentary there is less to it than would first appear insofar as the possibility of the network actually becoming more objective is concerned.

Good for Fox for running that piece. I don't think it quite balances all the Fox primetime claims the search was unconstitutional, that it means Biden has declared war on Americans, that the DOJ will be coming after all Trump supporters etc., not to mention the vows of revenge once the Republicans take back Congress.

Reading comprehension is important. If all the redacted affidavit shows is Trump, Mar a Lago, and documents, it is meaningless to the public. We already know this. And the DOJ won't release any more than this because doing so could interfere with their investigation.
Rick, you didnt read that correctly. Redactions of any documents can render them meaningless because you cant read an overly redacted document. That is all he was saying. The unredacted document is not meaningless.
If he wanted to steal information, why not just take photos or copy the docs and send them back? Or would it be docs that he just wants to disappear so that no one ever gets them? If so, why would he be hiding docs about the President of France? And if he wanted to just destroy them, wouldn't that have been easier than getting caught with them? I think it's a safe bet that Trump is lying. I just don't understand how the process works or what we think is practically going on here.
