Bro.. not only does no one believe you, but most Mensa types know the difference between.. oh, nevermind.
Why did Donald Trump take those top-secret documents to Mar-a-Lago? Colwell: Why did Trump take documents? Three likely reasons. Jack Colwell Let us today ponder a question now so often asked: Why did Donald Trump take all of those top-secret documents to his Mar-a-Lago resort? He hasn’t fessed up. Never will. But based on the pattern of how Trump is motivated, we can narrow the most likely reasons down to three. Q. What three? A. Revenge. Blackmail. Profit.
My take is slightly different. I think his egoism means that he thinks he is more important than the office. The law and precedent saying that all presidential records belong to the nation. Trump thinks anything he touches is his. I remember Reagan wouldn’t enter the Oval Office without a coat and tie. Trump thought he made the office.
As we approach page 136, I edited the title. That is required for super threads under @tilly's rules. Calling @MarineG8R! It will be soon time to go to work!
That far right site Axios saying now what i've been saying since this happened. Don't worry, the lefties on here will say it didn't happen and keep their heads buried in the sand.
No one cares because he's the easiest candidate for the Dems to beat in 2024. No independent voter is choosing him again.
I think admitting that "you gotta let Trump do crimes so Republicans dont try to make him president" vindicates a lot of what libs say about the Republican party
Not sure partisan popularity is the correct metric with which to judge the correctness of an action within the realm of law enforcement.
Not saying the fbi shouldn't have gotten the files back, just think they didn't need to do the full on raid to accomplish it. Just have 2 guys in suits show up with a warrant. No big deal.
He is indicative of the prototype MAGA moron. No intellectual growth or maturation beyond 4th grade. Intense identification with Trump because he doesn't speak like an adult and isn't held to adult standards like not committing crimes.
Nobody would've known the FBI was at MAR until Trump posted it on Truth Social. By law, with 2 or 200 agents, the FBI had to notify Trump they had a legal warrant to search the premises. Unless you think Trump would've stayed quiet if only 2 agents had "raided" MAR, sending less agents and Trump still posting the "raid" would have only put the agent's lives in danger. As soon as Trump posted, his sycophants started showing up at MAR. So did the WPB Police. I don't think having a smaller number of FBI agent's would've changed a thing. Trump still announces the raid, and instead of a large show of force at MAR, it's 2 agent's.
He could have also followed the law and not had the classified material at his personal residence after he was no longer president. That would have also resolved the issue without a "raid".
I read today that the newest rumor is that he kept the classified info at MAL because he was writing his memoirs.
Are people that stupid to believe that no one would've know that there was a raid a MAL if trump didn't publicize it LOL? Man, some people are beyond helping.
Haha, now your alternative proposal has shifted again. Now it is have less people show up. First, it was subpoena him and tell him that you were going to send this to the DOJ (both of which happened). Then it was just keep giving him multiple subpoenas indefinitely. Then it was leak to the press that there were unsecured classified documents in MAL. Now, it is do a search warrant but only bring two agents. Apparently, now the issue was how many people were there (BTW, they did show up without the FBI jackets to keep this quiet, but this took hours to properly secure and remove the documents with a bunch of agents). None of these solve the problem of Trump having done something that led to this and that Republicans will back him because of that.
