The high income earners are moving to Florida…

    That isnt my point. My point is high earners arent just moving to Florida because of money.

    Many of them are high earners anywhere they live. They dont chose Florida based just on that. The two posts I quoted took shots at Florida's financial rank.

    My point was that obviously if they are correct than money isnt why people chose Florida.

    I posted Florida’s rank because it shows that these high earners are the exception not the rule. A few thousand wealthy moving in doesn’t offset the price and income pressure put on the other 20 million based on Florida’s income vs. the insane home price and commodities rises. The net disposable income in the state, which was already low, has declined even further.
    But hey, a few thousand wealthy moved in, many long before he took office, so “Long Live DeSantis!”.
