But hey, he will still run in '24. I know you have to be super excited about that. You can't blame him if he wins because it's the lib government and their policies that will put Trump in office yet again just like Obama policies did.
If sticking to the topic of the OP becomes a hard rule they will have to lock every thread on THFSG. At least, everyone I have looked at.
Or maybe Mueller gave deference the DOJ Office of Legal Counsel's opinion which held that a sitting president couldn't be prosecuted. In language that you can understand Trump's position essentially saved his ass from prosecution for crimes that he most likely committed.
And if he runs he will be first presidential candidate of a major political party in the US to lose the popular vote three times in a row and the Electoral College vote twice. Interestingly Michael Cohen doesn't think Trump will run because he doesn't want to risk losing and maybe even more important once he announces it will limit his ability to grift through fundraising. Not an expert on campaign finance law but apparently Trump will have spend the money he raises on his campaign after he formally becomes a presidential candidate.
Whether it breaks a law is a judgement call, but Trump’s “I would like you to do us a favor though” call with Zelensky represents strong evidence of exactly what Republicans are accusing Biden of doing: running an investigation against a political opponent for personal political gain…except Trump involved a foreign government.
Not in jail, but many of his entourage have taken the hit for him and either served jail time or got a pardon from the donald. His long-time accountant being the latest and there are more to come. The donald .... keeping attorneys employed for years.
I disagree. If any of you actually think that the government gives a chit about you the you are delusional l.
That’s OK. If it isn’t worth your time to explain what is in your head and not apparent to others, then it isn’t worth my time.
How about trying to be a little more honest with your posts. First of all, Trump became president in January of 2017, so it’s been 5 and 1/2 years. Second, there were not enough honest Republican U.S. senators to remove Trump from office even though every single one of them would have voted to remove a Democrat president for the same charges. Third, because of the DOJ rules, Trump couldn’t be indicted as a sitting President. Since Trump has been out of office, the process has been moving forward despite the Republican leadership’s obstruction. You already knew everything I just wrote.
I am about to have a block party in honor of a few posters, but to answer the question regarding Trump’s accomplishments as President, he divided the country, he demeaned the office of the presidency and our country in the eyes of the world, he convinced millions of Americans that they can’t rely on the results of our elections as being accurate, he massively reduced taxes on big corporations and wealthy people, and last, but not least, by lying to the American people about the severity of COVID-19, he bears significant responsibility for the deaths of a million Americans.
Donald Trump is the net result of the combination of an unethical and incompetent real estate developer, a charismatic con artist with a gift for separating unsuspecting marks from the hard earned dollars, an organized crime mob boss and a sleazy politician.
