Then why did you do that very thing in the Covid thread. Over. and Over. and Over.

Im not applying the CINO moniker, as I don’t think I’m qualified to determine who is or isn’t Christian.

However, I am puzzled by a very Christian friend of mine who is a staunch Trump supporter. I asked him about this years ago when Trump first got elected, but we could never come what I thought was a satisfying conclusion to the conversation. At the end, (clearly it seemed I was badgering him), he asked ”I don’t know what you want me to say.” I didn’t have an answer ready, but I do have one now. I expected him to say something like, “Yes abortion and appointing conservative supreme justices is extremely important to me, so I cannot bring myself to vote for Hillary, but Trump is an unacceptable vehicle for delivering these outcomes, so I truly hope we can find someone better.” That’s all. Respect the deeds without lionizing the man.

You are saying that politician’s personal faults are besides the point, but clearly there must be some limit to that idea. Even if he were the Republican nominee running vs Kamala, you wouldn’t vote for Jeffrey Dahmer right? Trump did some of the stuff you wanted, I agree, but wouldn’t have Rubio or Romney or Amash all done basically the same thing without the mean-spirited and irreverent approach? Why lionize the man unless you want to endorse the rather anti-Christian aspects of his nature?

Just in the last few weeks Texas schools now display “In God We Trust” exhibits at the entrance. Thanks to a law skirting the obvious conflict with the American Ideal. I’m sure the non-Nat C students totally get it on the way to government class.

So much for all this standing up.

Oh there are plenty of other things we could discuss that are not Christian moral tenants and policy.

    Come on now…

Jeffery Dahmer? It really feels like you are trying to insinuate Trump there and HRC or someone else not.

I did not vote for Trump in the 16 primaries. I did in the general with the hope he would walk what he said as Hillary clearly was not going to walk the walk for Christian moral tenants. And he did as a whole when it comes to policy.

End of the day he was not perfect but arguably the best President we have seen since Reagan for Conservative policy and Christian tenants from a governing standpoint.

No doubt he is and was hated by many.

    So is and was Christ.

Ah, the Reagan as con myth. There are exactly 2 presidents that added more as a % to our debt than Ronnie BIG GOV Reagan, Wilson & FDR. & that is despite 11 tax increases - some of them huge ones.

There is almost no doubt HRC thinks of JC more than DJT.

For me that’s not a positive, but it’s still simply evident.

And you’re just now, after many posts in this thread, thinking of them? All I can recall you pontificating about are vaccines and abortions.

Reagan had his short comings. That said he was phenomenal. He definitely raised SS taxes to push the problem down the road…

    ???

Are you suggesting that supporting policies for the killing of the most innocent for convenience is morally Biblical?

Once I saw this guy on a bridge about to jump. I said, "Don't do it!" He said, "Nobody loves me." I said, "God loves you. Do you believe in God?"

He said, "Yes." I said, "Are you a Christian or a Jew?" He said, "A Christian." I said, "Me, too! Protestant or Catholic?" He said, "Protestant." I said, "Me, too! What franchise?" He said, "Baptist." I said, "Me, too! Northern Baptist or Southern Baptist?" He said, "Northern Baptist." I said, "Me, too! Northern Conservative Baptist or Northern Liberal Baptist?"

He said, "Northern Conservative Baptist." I said, "Me, too! Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region, or Northern Conservative Baptist Eastern Region?" He said, "Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region." I said, "Me, too!"

Northern Conservative†Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1879, or Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1912?" He said, "Northern Conservative Baptist Great Lakes Region Council of 1912." I said, "Die, heretic!" And I pushed him over.

I’m suggesting that DJT could give two hairs of the rat’s ass about abortion and will throw you this bone so long as you’ll continue to vote for his ending the idea that I have every right to hold an opposing view, about anything. He cares about your blindness, likely can’t spell JC.

I doubt HRC, mother, likes abortion. I bet she still honors my inherent right to reject your absolutism. Sorta like JC would do.

One of these two “allows” me the freedom to chart my own choice/consequence path. Kinda like “free will.” The other mandates obedience.

How you don’t recognize that the yoke is coming for you on some other matter is astounding.

Once a person no longer controls their very physical being there is no floor. DJT understands that laws are for the masses, not his ilk. He could care less about the morality. He can’t even be bothered to take 60 seconds to learn to fake quoting scripture correctly. He knows he doesn’t need to, because you.

Where is the standard GOP “slippery slope” screech now?

You'd tar and feather Jesus for being a CINO and a Christian nationalist if you ever met Him. Don't delude yourself otherwise.
