Maybe good ole Liz is going to CNN? The timing of her being completely destroyed in the primaries and then what less than 48 hours, Stelter and his entire staff are fired.
You do realized his show has the highest viewership of any cable news show right? About 1.6 mil viewers vs Stelter at 600k. Heck there are You Tubers out there with more viewers than Stelter... hahahaha.
You really don’t want to bring YouTube views into this discussion... But since you have, The Spiffing Brit, a man that makes exploit gaming related videos, averages over 1.7 million views, with 3.1 million subscribers. His channel is considered small. So am I left to conclude that the highest rated show on Fox gets less views than a guy creating video game exploit videos on the internet. What does that say about Fox News and other outlets?
There are middle of the road YouTubers with more than Tucker...lol.. By todays media standards. 1.6M isnt much. Baby Shark had 9 Billion views. Dude perfect gets millions of views every episode... as much as 18M views for one video I am amazed at those who think the opinion media from either aide really has much influence on the greater population Most Likely the demo for that medium is over 60 years old and still gets the newspaper delivered. YouTube is easily half the screen time at our house. (Mostly because of the 12 year old. )
While conceding that Tucker is very popular it's really a misnomer to refer to his show as a cable "news" show. Fox News is News in Name Only. Tucker Carlson is a rather skilled entertainer masquerading as a serious commentator. He essentially tells his willfully ignorant viewers what they want to hear. Popularity does not equal credibility. Once again: You Literally Can't Believe The Facts Tucker Carlson Tells You. So Say Fox's Lawyers Tucker Carlson Successfully Argues Nobody Really Believes Tucker Carlson Is Reporting Facts - FindLaw Fox News won a court case by 'persuasively' arguing that no 'reasonable viewer' takes Tucker Carlson seriously
I was inclined to inquire about Stelter's IQ, but am much more intrigued by the "Better Call Saul" dialogue and this seemingly new Spoiler feature on GC. Can anyone explain how the Spoiler thingy works?
Click on the "+" on the tool bar. There is a 'spoiler' option which will insert the start and end tags. Just type your message in between those tags.
Spoiler It felt like a change in gears, for sure. It must have been challenging to service the BB/BCS audience in a time period where almost everyone has been killed. It was almost a relief to find Saul back in Albuquerque with familiar faces, even if it was just Oakley and Marie. That being said, I don't think the final disposition would have worked as well without the Gene-back-to-Jimmy journey.
Spoiler I agree with you and understand why they did it - character development, I just didn’t particularly enjoy watching it.
