Funny but if you look at her history she's more of a Republican than Donnie Boy. She was punished for committing the one unforgivable sin in today's Republican Party that of failing to genuflect to its Dear Leader and publicly rebutting the big lie.

 

I also was very against lockdowns and school closures. He was the leader making sure FL followed science and not the politically corrupt CDC. DeSantis as right. There isn't a politician out there that I agree 100% with. I like Val Demings a lot. I like that DeSantis didn't go and ban abortions, that would've been a terrible thing. I like that DeSantis is raising pay for teachers(still room for much more) and I like that he's banning biological males from competing against females. I have a daughter and think it's ridiculous that she might have to face a biological male in sports in HS if someone like Crist or Gillum(LOL) was Gov of FL. So yes, thanks for the insult. Let me know the last time you voted other party or didn't vote for a Dem and how often. I'll put my "low information" voter record against your Dem every/all the time voting record. Keep reaching. A good analogy is Margaret Chase Smith and her Declaration of Conscience in which she called out the Republican Party of the early '50s for enabling Sen. Joseph McCarthy and his anti-communist witch hunt although she didn't actually mention him by name. Sen. Smith is still honored today for her courage while no one can name the Republican Senators who enabled McCarthy.

I know your comment is somewhat meant to be funny, but honestly, I think we’d better off viewing identity, rather than rationality, as the main driver of political behavior.

 

It was meant to be funny, but it's also a real question. The uneducated might be considered 'dumb' because they don't know a lot. But 'dumb' people may lack intellectual curiosity and therefore not place much value on education. I guess it doesn't matter with regards to our current politics. If one votes for Trump because they are uneducated or because they are dumb, it's still a vote for Trump.

 

No surprise. It’s a statistically proven fact that Trump supporters are less educated and overall of lower IQ than the rest. I mean, they think the guy is a great businessman and can’t see him for the snake oil salesman he is, so that should tell you something.
