The absurdity of all of this is that you act as though there are tons of persuadable voters in San Francisco but not in more suburban cities. If anything, I would expect places like Salt Lake City to get more traffic than larger, more entrenched cities in years like 2016 and 2020, where they were in a conservative area but one that is pro-immigration and doesn't like Trump. There were a ton of persuadable voters there, but because even persuading a ton of them would only get you to say 55% Republican, everybody ignored it on both sides.

The states you mention that should not have any say on immigration policy because they aren't border states ARE, in fact, border states. Every one of them.

They play baseball and play it well pretty much all over the world. Off the top of my head and I'm going to miss a bunch but: Japan - about the best player these days is dominating pitcher and slugger Ohtani from Japan, S.Korea, Cuba, Mexico, Dominican Republic- leading export is MLB shortstops, Venezuela, Canada, Taiwan - always have a hell of a LLWS team, Italy, Panama, Nicaragua, Aruba, Curacao - only know this because he played for the Braves and his son is one of the top prospects this year.

Watch a MLB game sometime and you will see a true World Series every weekend.
