Trump’s Longtime CFO Pleads Guilty in New York Tax Fraud Case

Trump’s Longtime CFO Pleads Guilty in New York Tax Fraud Case
    • Allen Weisselberg entered his plea in N.Y. court on Thursday
    • Experts say it will make it easier to convict Trump’s company.
Longtime Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg pleaded guilty to tax fraud charges, the latest blow to former President Donald Trump in a fraught few weeks that have seen fresh legal peril emerge from several directions.

Weisselberg, 75, entered his plea Thursday in state court in Manhattan, admitting he participated in a yearslong scheme to avoid taxes by paying certain workers with unreported perks like housing and cars.

How prevalent is this in business? Is it common as I have heard said on TV. I wouldn't know. I had to pay taxes for the uniforms I got, had to refuse honorariums when they were offered, and had to include the value of driving a state truck to my home on those days I was required to be on call 24hrs/day.

“I really didn’t know Allen that well. My father hired him years ago and I’m not really sure what he did day to day”.

Possible explanation 1: all the local, state and federal prosecutors, all the evidence, all the witnesses, all the grand juries, all the trial juries, and all the local, state and federal judges were corrupt.

Possible explanation 2: Trump and his cronies are corrupt.

    Pick one. :)
