I don't know what happened before July but I am loving this new ruthlessness from the Gators on the recruiting trail. Even if we don't land them the fact that the effort has been turned up to 11 makes me so excited
Do you want to know who we might be getting to commit to the Gators next? Watch for that recruit to drop in ratings... I noticed James Smith is still a 5* star of the composite, but 247's in house has him dropped to a 4* star now... There is chatter about he and Russaw as a two for one deal and that might bode well for the Gators... we shall see. New future home?
I didn't see him mentioned, but He has expressed a ton of interest (he's said it in his own words he likes the gators) so I would not be surprised if he transferred there too.

Rick. You are ahead of me on this but YES, Smith and Russaw are supposedly a "package deal". Quite a bit of buzz with Podcasters about these two 5 stars, and UF picking up steam and traction with them. Bammers will get a good "hardy harr harr" from me considering the non stop poaching of Florida, some well deserved payback and one hell of a coup if CBN pulls it off. Blue chip Billy is on a role and we have some damn fine facilities to show off. It may not be out of the question. We would have one helleva defensive class if those two and McClain commit. Some suggest that would vault us to #3. Not bad to think about -
There is some chatter about Keon Keeley decommitting from Notre Dame... I hope the Gators are well positioned in Keeley's visitation plans, in the very near future. While its believed that Alabama its the leader (its also believed that Alabama its the leader for DL James Smith) for recently decommitted DE Keon Keeley the Gators staff keeps attempting to get him on campus for an official visit this fall.
