Good point, but maybe it means he'll decide in September, after watching some games, and after knowing who he's picking only then will he plan his commitment announcement and date.

 

big change since he initially was announcing in December / ESD. Still hasn’t had an official visit to Bama or UF. (Did OV Miami).

Who knows, but we might hear about a Brinks truck with Dade County plates paying him a visit soon. Complete with a free life-time of services from LifeWallet.

That indicates some real intelligence and thoughtful consideration of the programs he's considering. It's not just about money for him or at least in the short term. He wants to see who does best at developing and coaching DBs.

 

You know, I’m no fan of all the announcement drama, but I think it’s really smart to say hey, I think I’ll watch these teams I’m interested in play a game or two before I declare my commitment. You’re almost crazy not to — it’s only August and there’s almost a dozen games to be played before ESD. Can you imagine how different this is all gonna look in November?

 

Uf will be 4-0 by the end of September.
Coach Raymond said we will have around
16 to 20 picks in those first 4 games.

 

Definitely not a bad idea to watch a couple games, even if it's just to be sure of his pick. Teams with new coaches, new defenses.. gotta make sure no red flags pop up. I kind of like this.

 

Really, what’s the rush? Nothing is official for another 4 months

 

The "rush" is us fans are bored until kickoff and recruiting sustains us until that time.!!

 

Any DBs we sign this year are gonna feast back there behind the DL we’re bringing in. I’m sure he’ll have an offer until the end, but not that many spots left in this class so no more flurries of Commitments like we had last week.

 

I will let you around 10:00ish when I am going to decide what I have for lunch, reserving the right to change either time for dramatic effect, or even choose to forego lunch until a later time if my mind isn't made up or I want to get more coin from an early bird.
