What information do you think is in a search warrant affidavit? Do you know?

Not exactly and doubly so when it comes to classified material. Good intent can likely keep him out of jail (and if its true that these docs were pulled from a padlocked pool closet that does not qualify), but ignorance of a law is not a valid reason to break it.

@AzCatFan was mostly correct in his assertions (quoted below). Only "splitting hairs" corrections I'd make to the statement is that TS/SCI is the highest publicized form of classification the US has. Also, just because one has a clearance does not mean they are privy to data at their level of clearance. A "Need to Know" must be proven to exist. Without both components, the dissemination of classified information is considered a data spill.

What I said was that across the board "equal justice under law" is bullshit, not the DC area. As long as your guy is above the law it's all good. BTW get back to us when the laws have been re written to let a defendant off the hook because another defendant did something wrong in an unrelated matter.

Why is this funny? It's how it always works.

There is zero chance the DOJ defies the court. Also, the court already has the affidavit.

It is extremely rare for a judge to unseal an affidavit before charges are made.

You seem to be a bit uninformed about the law generally and this investigation specifically. I submit you ask more questions and make fewer statements until you get up to speed. You are derailing this thread.

Knowing what we know of Trump, the first time he learned his passport was taken was when they told him they were returning it

Why would he need to return declassified documents?

Ah. So when you claim that the NYT story says that Biden pressured Garland to prosecute Trump, you don't have a clue if the story really says that?. Do you honestly feel good about that kind of argument?

The rules of the site are posted and seem pretty clear:

    to wit:

"It would be extraordinary to unseal the search warrant affidavit in an ongoing investigation. It's theoretically possible but I don't think I've ever seen it happen. The notion that it's unusual or sinister for DoJ to oppose it is a lie."

This seems like the latest in the conservative attempt to find an attack line that works.
Basically, attack them for something they know they can’t provide and then claim cover up or secrecy.

Reading comprehension problem to jump to that accusation which has already been tried and failed. I brought the link in after treading it. Why didn't you bring it in IF you read it. If you haven't read it, click the link and cut and paste the legal limit and especially the part about what Joe Biden wants as expressed in the article. Funny, no one wants to bring in that incriminating abuse of power evidence.

As stated, the PPI report had 18 paragraphs and 4 tables. Under the rules, what exactly can be cut and pasted. I had 5 and you asked that it be dropped to 3. Is it 3 paragraphs max no matter how long the article? No, the rule is cloudy when it comes to longer articles and reports.

Reading comprehension X2, I'm locked out unless I subscribe to the New York Slimes which is a no go. If I'm allowed an article a day, I'll try tomorrow. You could have done it. Why didn't you?

Apologize for being right? It'll be a cold day in hell.
