    I was recently diagnosed with liver cancer. Never an alcoholic, haven’t touched a drop in 32 years. No Hep B/C. Seems contained in the liver but with cirrhosis. Local oncologist seemed less than interested (and isn’t a liver/GI specialist), unorganized (couldn’t produce biopsy paperwork on first visit) and uninformed (didn’t know about 2 clinical trials in ATL). Ran as fast as I could from his office.

    Heading to MD Anderson in Houston early next month. Planned the visit so I’d be home for Saturday football - even sick you’ve got to have your priorities straight! Assigned liver cancer specialist doctor got her undergraduate degree from…UF! Funny world.

    Hoping for a few more years. Please keep a friendly rival in your prayers.

    May the Lords healing hand cure you. May the peace of the Lord be with you and your family as you go through this battle. I pray the Lord destroys every part of the cancer in your body in Jesus name!

    Prayers. May you come through it and may you then be able to cheer a couple decades of cocktail parties with the Gators coming out on too more times than not hopefully.
