Maybe.. but if the Dems run Cheney and the GOP runs Manchin we’re back to record turnout.

you guys should really… idk… read the news? It saves money on healthcare and increases revenue from taxes to offset the spending. Which is responsible governance. Republicans should try it.

The right wingers here are the same posters who on the football board are super cocky before the game and who throw huge tantrums after the Gators lose.

poster: " Raising taxes and beefing up IRS during super high inflation is as dumb a move as you could think of. " Not sure of the economic soundness of lowering taxes to fight inflation. Link to information to convince me otherwise.

LOL. And you probably still think that Trump's 2017 tax cut reduced the deficit.

Well I mean it’s impossible to know for sure because 10 years is a long time and these bills don’t exist in a vacuum but happy to share some airport beers and argue about it!

I don't see a red wave but think the R's take the House and Senate.

    Newsflash!
Government wastes money. Government cannot create wealth.
    Government creates bubbles.
You are sadly mistaken if you believe government can act competently.

Don't forget all the taxes and fee increases to help make our commutes and heating cost more expensive

Fact Check Team: Will the Inflation Reduction Act raise the price of gas?

    Should really crush inflation.

I know you guys would like for Americans to forget about Roe v Wade, but inflation is easing, gas prices coming down along with some food. Low low unemployment rate. You can't put the genie back in the bottle though when you take away American freedoms.

The house is flipping to R most likely. The Senate is a closer call imo. R candidates like Herschel Walker and Dr Oz may keep it Dem.

As proven by the dramatic increase in wealth in countries where the government fails and stops interfering with private actors?

The House is gerrymandered. I can’t see it ever going Dem. the Dems are going to gain on the Senate. Should he interesting in 2024 when the Red legislatures in states the Dems win refuse to send electors who will vote for the Dem or the House refuses to certify the election.

The government gives us laws, order, safety, and security without which your golden idol you must apparently worship would cease to function. Businesses have proven again and again that they are self interested and without the government to maintain balance would rape this entire country in the name of profit. And without the incompetent government bailing out big business in 2008 it might have been the end of our entire system. Governments maintain infrastructure, promote public health, and provide education. Are they perfect? No. But they’re what we have and it’s certainly better than living in a corporate serfdom.

So we can be assured you have nothing that would substantiate the questionable economic premise that you put forth that somehow raising taxes is ridiculous in inflation.

Please notify the professional budget agencies that your analysis shows different results than theirs. because you astutely factored in "Don't forget all the taxes and fee increases to help make our commutes and heating cost more expensive" SMDH
