In this video, it's very long but he goes literally through every race to get to 250 pubs running Congress come January.

It’s a much better environment for democrats. They look pretty good in the senate and getting better in the house. Would be historical if they kept the house after the last election put Dems in power.

    Senate is +1 Democrat.

    House is 231-204 Republican lean.

Better environment huh? Raising taxes and beefing up IRS during super high inflation is as dumb a move as you could think of.
Not going to help the libbies in November.

Listen to yourself. Tax cheats and $400k+ wealthy ridiculously low taxes is the hill you want to die on? Why wouldn’t you say lower prescription costs, lows Medicare caps, fewer cheaters, energy investments, infrastructure investments, microchip investments, and staying out of wars?

Much more likely in the low 230s. Still a Republican majority but not nearly a Republican wave election like 2010 or 1994. The Dobbs decision overturning Roe v. Wade was a game changer (see the vote on the Kansas constitutional amendment) as was the recently enacted Democratic legislation and while still a negative for the Democrats even the economy is improving.

Other than the economy the Democrats biggest problem going into the midterms was lack of enthusiasm. Thanks to Dobbs and the recently enacted legislation a lot of Democratic leaning voters who may have otherwise stayed home are going to show up and vote in November.

Don't waste your time on that video. That guy leans strongly to the right. There's no way you can do neutral poll analyses and use the word RINO in your titles

Republicans have just as likely chance of 210 as they do 250. Funny how confidence intervals work. Looks like Democrats range is 185 to 225. Advantage pubs.

Who said anything about dying on a hill? You made that leap. Look at you getting so defensive. You love big govt. you hate business.
I can’t make it any clearer for you.

You could make it much clearer for me. Especially since that makes no sense as I’m in bed with capitalism and business as anyone on this site.

Personally, I think it will be a red wave, certainly in the house. Statewide polls for senate races are, as always, skewed sampled for Dems giving much closer races right now.

I believe the Dems have lost a lot of the independent vote. The Spending Spree cooked their own goose. Hell, even the moderate democrats here can’t defend the ridiculous spending.

Many independents went blue in 2020 based on the BS that Biden would be a uniter. They’ve lost that group too and will have to run on issues. Advantage Pubs.

Of course, it may not mean much as Republicans have proven time and time again of not being able to get much done. P

ridiculous spending? It cuts the deficit. When was the last time republicans could say the same?

Gotta spend to reduce the deficit. Logic fail.

I think low voter turnout days are behind us. I can’t think of one combination of presidential candidates that keeps people home.

Sure it does! How could I be so silly?

Please state that clearly here for all to see that you truly believe that this will reduce the deficit.

When revenue increases at a greater rate than spending the deficit goes down. There are two sides to the equation. Just saying.

If the GOP ran Cheney and the democrats ran Manchin, I could see low voter turnout.

Yeah, this will reduce the deficit. It raises more money than it spends.
