I was responding to your assertion that the media labeled the documents confidential. That’s not what happened. The documents were categorized by the government, not media. Obviously, like everyone else on the Board, I cannot tell you explicitly what was seized, because I haven’t been privy. So no guessing by me. I am only stating the government indicated in its receipt of documents that highly sensitive and sensitive/confidential documents were in fact seized.
It is in a court room. But that doesn't mean you should make up stuff on here. You have no indication that the documents were not still classified.
I was responding to your claim that the documents taken were declassified by the President. The official government record does not show he declassified home, does not establish he followed protocol to declassify them, does not say when he declassified them, or whether he had the right to declassify them. And I think we can all agree that he has no such right once his presidency ends (unless your contending, and I know you’re not, that he actually is still lawfully the president).

No, that is not what the "media" is calling it. The warrant specifies that they have probable cause to suspect that Trump violated the Espionage Act. The court agreed in issuing the warrant.
The only thing we know is that the DOJ took some boxes out of his residence. That is pretty much the facts so far... The rest of it is me having some fun speculating about all this imaginary stuff...
Well, to be fair, the documents were seized as indicia of crimes committed by someone under, amongst other statutes, the Espionage Act. It would be premature, and legally incorrect, to say that he has been charged with espionage, or even that he is the target of the crime of espionage. Unfortunately, Media on all sides gets out of whack on these things.
Weak is know how the documents were classified because that is reflected in the inventory attached to the warrant
Well, he had documents, as the warrant reports boxes of documents removed. Some of those documents were removed consistent with procedures that they were some level of classified. You made up that they were declassified, which you have no evidence to support.
