And I'll be the "documents" are NOT as "classified" as the MSM makes it out to be either.

Either way this whole RAID was nothing more than a fishing expedition...

Are there any indications the docs were declassified?

They were marked as classified on the search inventory.

Your argument of substituting facts for wishful thinking is annoying.

Were the documents marked as declassified as happens when they are put through the declassification process?

You’re laughing because the former President may have engaged in acts of passing sensitive information to others? I mean, I get you don’t like Democrats or Republicans, and you align yourself with Trump. For sure, you are joined by millions. But, I just can’t wrap my hands around the concept that our justice department should ignore the tips and information suggesting Trump illegally has sensitive information in an insecure property.

Is there anything at all, ever, that Trump could do wrong? Is it even possible? Will you always believe what he says no matter what the circumstance?

You need to stop saying this, brother. While he might technically be able to do it, there would be some responsible adult at whatever agency who would get in the way of it and stop the declassification if it was going to cause harm to the USA. Then… the President would have to explain why he thought it was a good idea to just declassify “whatever he wants”. It doesn’t work the way you think it does. It would cause a mutiny.

I’m somewhat sympathetic to @Gatorrick22 today. He showed up while the rest of his tag team is hiding. I have a lot of respect for him willing to deal with it today. Disagree with him on just about everything.

    Anywho…

Trump is going to be 1 of 2 things. 1) the GOP candidate or 2) the GOP candidate.

In. other. words. Ain’t that big of a deal for the dumbass to have some files in his possession and a technicality. Why? Because no one cares on his side. Literally, no one. Absent there being proof that Trump sold secrets through the LIV golf tournament to MBS and Jared buying a new diamond for his beard, nothing is going to happen because by-the-book Merrick has a nothing to hang on Donny that the average American will understand.

I’m back to hoping The Don is overcome by the Power of Jesus to become a missionary in the South Pole.

why did Hillary not visit Wisconsin? Why? They have cheese. Nice cheese. They put that stuff on their head.

“He can’t just wave a wand and say it’s declassified,” Immerman said. “There has to be a formal process. That’s the only way the system can work,” because otherwise there would be no way of knowing who could handle or see the documents.

“I’ve seen thousands of declassified documents. They’re all marked ‘declassified’ with the date they were declassified,” Immerman said.
    ....

"Trump could say we're declassifying this until he's blue in the face, but no one is allowed to touch those records until the markings are addressed," said Moss, a frequent Trump critic on Twitter.

In the current dispute, the apparent lack of a paper trail showing that Trump declassified the documents before he left office could be a problem for the former president, said Stephen Vladeck, a University of Texas School of Law professor who specializes in national security.
    "

Trump allies say he declassified Mar-a-Lago documents seized by FBI. Experts are skeptical.

Paywalled: Trump claims he declassified all the documents at Mar-a-Lago. Even if that’s true, it probably doesn’t matter.

It's not Mueller's job (way above his legal right to interject that statement) to even comment on this... also because there was NO CRIME COMMITTED...

Also, to all you people that believe that President Trump stole NUCLEAR SECRETS... LMFAO! Go get a brain. It's all subterfuge from the complicit media...

I'll stop saying it when the Dems here stop repeating the media lies about nuclear secrets being stolen by President Trump... That is completely made up.

Tell me something. Did Bill Clinton have toe right to declassify all our our research laboratories across our nations...

Did he have the right to let these Chinese communists infiltrate them all?

Did he have the right to make money off it it?

This is all made up lies from the complicit media. There were never any nuclear secrets at Mar...

Exactly, we all have access to the same document. It’s very curious that we read it so differently?

(Note: personally I’ve never read it, or ever will read it - I’m just interested in why disagreements among communicating agents can persist indefinitely).

The President cannot declassify everything. And there is a procedure to declassify, including a stamp with date and time. Without this declassify stamp, there is no way to distinguish what is still classified and what is clear. Like it has been said, a President can't just point at a document and say declassified, and it's so.

As to why raid now? Something in the calculus likely changed. The last thing the DOJ wanted was to raid a former President's home. That's why they tried every thing to get these docs back before a raid. Asking. Subpoenas. Meetings with Trump's lawyers. All failed.

Remember, Mar a Lago was under surveillance by the FBI. Maybe too many people of questionable character was getting access? Maybe Trump's intent on using the info was changing, as evidence of the people visiting? In addition, the DOJ has a policy of not doing anything political within 90 days of an election. The raid was 92 days before the November mid terms.

But … he’s not the President. And there’s no record of him declassifying it. And there’s certain information that he cannot legally declassify. I think these undeniable facts are why some of us are concerned about what was taken, why it was concealed, and who saw it.

It’s not the MSM making the classification. It is official government classification.

You don't know anymore about what's NOT in those files than what we know IS in the files, except what we're actually reading the articles that itemize the documents that were found and you seem to have read NOTHING.

Funny you brought up media lies. Are these guys lying?

FBI seized classified records from Mar-a-Lago during raid of Trump's Florida residence

I apologize for the insult but it takes a lot of restraint to read your ignorant rants, most followed by a reasoned explanation of what you don't seem to understand only to see you follow with another rambling denial of what the former president probably did and dismissal of of this entire investigation. You're digging a hole you won't be able to get out of and pissing off the people who might throw you a rope.

My advice to you is stop watching TV and start reading real news. Start with this.

FBI seized top secret documents in Trump estate search
