You make a good point. But I have it on good authority that America's most classified papers are actually in folders labeled "Kissinger Naked Selfies" and "Least Interesting Tax Law Details."
This will absolutely turn out to be nothing, this is comical. I can't wait until the midterms, this will be fun going after the true crooked bastards
Here's the unsealed search warrant and inventory: https://storage.courtlistener.com/r...d.617854/gov.uscourts.flsd.617854.17.0_17.pdf
He's already concluded in his mind that it's nothing. No future evidence or revelations to the contrary will change his mind.
Come on. Neither you nor those who claim he was going to sell our secrets to Putin have a clue about what they found.
I disagree. Really, if they really thought he had anything really important they would have already raid and took it, this is a complete joke and a black eye for the DOJ and FBI
That the top secret documents were declassified seems to be beside the point. I’m not sure why some keep referring to that. All they have to do is ask themselves what their position would be if any other president took them to his home and refused to return them. It’s clear to me that some to simply don’t understand what TOP SECRET means and encompasses and where such documents are to be kept and, indeed, where they should be viewed. What Trump did is waayyy beyond the pale. It’s a betrayal of the worst kind. He endangered our national security and simply didn’t care. He may well be indicted under the Espionage Act. When one reflects on what this man has done to this country since he became president, it is astonishing how anyone can rationalize continuing to support him. It’s hard for anyone to admit one was wrong, but sometimes we must.
Here’s the warrant and index of documents taken. READ: Search warrant for Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort - CNNPolitics
They have been trying for months. This didn’t just happen out of the blue. I guess when Trump gave back 15 boxes a few months back, he held back some “good stuff” for himself. The feds must have had some specifics they knew Trump was holding. He isn’t even denying at this stage. The only question is what was his motive with whatever the military stuff was. More curiously, what was the information on “the President of France”.
I wonder if Trump (meaning people working for him) made copies of the documents? If they're de-classified, it seems like they could publish copies or at least tell the public what's in them.
And declassification requires a process he didn’t go through which results in the document being marked “declassified”. That’s why it took so long for the Russia docs to become available. He’s just so full of sh*t.
Thanks for keeping me in check. The search warrant doesn't specify the subsection. For those interested, here's a more readable version of 793. 18 U.S. Code § 793 - Gathering, transmitting or losing defense information
Lots of "Top Secret Documents" found ... and he apparently kept the documents related to Roger Stone's pardon ... lol ... what's he doing, showing them off at parties?
