I have a few people ignored, I think they were all ones who consistently did pretty much nothing but post disinformation in the Covid thread.
Glad you are stronger than some of the Karen’s we have. Hopefully Gator Country fixes the issue though. We should be able to see what they say.
Huh? I am saying Gator Country needs to fix the platform so we can see what others say. It stinks when you see a post that you know is a response to another post but you cannot see the post being responded to because Karen put someone on block/ignore. Makes thread hard to follow and see the full context. I could care less what Karen decides to do when it comes to blocking and ignoring people because they are weak and self centered.
I am making a point about the Gator Country platform. Karen can’t see what I am posting as they are not willing to sit at the table together…
I was trying to explain it to you nicely, despite your claims of "Karens" and "weak" posters. Was hoping that perhaps you might ask yourself the question "why are posters placing me on ignore?" Your labeling other posters "Karens" and "weak" are yet another indicator that reflection may be in order. Good luck, I've done what I can here.
I explained why some may have put me on ignore or block. They can’t handle a differing view on a political forum on the internet. And that is there prerogative. Hopefully we can fix the platform though.
An obsessive person is unable to seriously consider - just open-mindedly consider - another point of view. You did it to the point of absurdity with Fauci, and now you're doing it dismissively with "Karens".
As @OklahomaGator noted the only person who cannot see your posts is the person who blocked you. You can see everything posted from a poster that blocked you. What some see as an issue is you want to respond to a comment to the poster that blocked you and the poster will never see it. (crickets) Everyone else on the board will certainly see your response unless they blocked you. The question at this juncture is if anyone else is willing to rebut your response and engage in conversation. If so the person who blocked you gets none of that information. A sad state as those who took up the conversation may well have come to some sort of agreement and the blocker has no clue as to what transpired. I have never blocked anyone nor do I intend to. My guess is those that use the feature are most likely doing it to temper a most assuredly heated response. In other words they know what pushes their buttons and rather than deal with it they choose to block what may well be a cogent thoughtful response and dialog.
That's not accurate, it works both ways. Sometimes I can see that someone who's blocked me has posted because its the last post on the thread, but it wont show the post. And only the responses to that person from other posters will show, not the content of their post.
As I recall, Dice caught a ton of grief in the '80s as well. Plus, Dice was a hack. He turned out to be a great dramatic actor, but his shtick was played out. Rodney is, to this day, still considered a goat along with Eddie(well, up until that horrible Coming to America sequel.) You guys have to get over it already. I go to stand-up shows regularly and still hear it. When was the last time you actually went to a show?
