Is it really hard to believe? We are talking about a man and his family who grifted a children’s cancer charity. After Jan 6, I’m convinced there is nothing this man wouldn’t stoop to doing for ego and money.

Please, PLEASE read other news feeds. I am not saying my takes are perfect, but this is just plain...bias confirmation. And that is a BAD sign for all of us.

Because the laws requiring preserving all records haven’t caught up with technology.

Well, it depends on your flavor and what you will tolerate. My "go-to" is One America News (although not exclusively). They at least try to be agenda-adverse. They DO seem to trend towards "Justice" and "Constitutionalists" when they are interviewing folks, and so you may not think they are as balanced as you want. I would stay away IN SPADES from CNN and Ms-NBC or Fox and Breitbart. They are like the blind squirrel; just enough "hits" to give them cover.

Epoch Times is a bit too "the world is ending!" in their takes and if you choose that route, it is likely you will catch them in a mistake and then inclined to run back to the "safety" of what you are used to. Just remember the old adage, "those who trade liberty for security will get neither." That also pertains to getting to the TRUE facts and not what everyone is espousing because it is "popular" (at best).

Spin on all sides is VERY lucrative. All we have to stop it is us.

If I were on "the other side", I would find a couple of bloggers who have put it out there and don't mind any backlash from the "established" hierarchy. Again, you have to make sure they haven't gone to "the dark side" because they are getting tired of eating beans and weenies.

Im not sure you are hitting the right poster with this, as I very much agree that our tribal natures are perhaps the largest danger of our time. My main goal is to abandon political tribes altogether, so that I no longer belong to either side but instead to a group of ideals. Admittedly, this is an almost inhuman task, so I am no doubt failing badly, but I don’t think I’ve proclaimed the righteousness of either republicans or democrats in years.

It will be interesting to see if the return on the warrant identifies the nature of the documents; if the reporting is right, the content of the documents are sensitive national security related, but not the nature of the documents.

You would know I'm sure but according to the article it was different. With this DOJ and the way, the FBI has acted nothing surprises me about them

Um, did I not give you enough credit? It is like a morbidly obese person realizing they have been coddled by a bunch of powerful and malevolent folks and you decide to find the "ignore" button (or even better). That is what needs to happen. But you DO realize, knowing you have been duped isn't the same as losing 200 pounds of fat. That takes real conviction during an era where "conviction" is sort of a dirty word (at least not popular). And using this analogy, it would be like finding out that the health professionals are all bought-and-paid for by Big Sugar, Big Flour, Big Oil/Ag (burn your food, it will teach those Arabs a lesson!) and obviously Big Pharma. Why work when you have political cover and a pill to "magically" do the work for you?

I believe that whether or not Trump opposes the release of the warrant and return, that the court will order disclosure anyway. If he opposes it, Trump would then likely ask the District Court to review that decision. It is clear that there is a compelling national interest in making public the warrant and return. Senators and Representatives have called for it and Trump also proclaimed outrage over the search and demanded release of the materials. And if the documents are not Trump’s, he has no privacy interest in the documents. So, release comes down to fair trial concerns. Trump’s own conduct has invited release. Bottom line is that he can’t claim release prejudices him and make the kind of public statements he has.

In the long run, it won’t matter. Both documents will use language to avoid specificity that folks want. Even the affidavit could be worded as conveying specific intent while at the same time, not providing specificity.

The receipt will probably be box 1 or doc 1 ;) that will spin the folks up, lol.

And for the Mods, can we get a bat shat crazy emoji;)

Personally, I try to keep modest, because I don't want to cause "shock and awe!"

Or perhaps I would and then nobody notices.

I choose the first choice! You are most sincerely welcome!
