I’ve shot thousands of rounds through an M4 (AR-15) and while I’m no ammunition or gun expert, it still has plenty of juice at that distance. The idiot laughing probably misinterpreted it to be 500 meters instead of 500 feet like Beto said.

Yeah, there are videos on YouTube of rifle bullets going clear through an army helmet, I mean, in one side and out the other side, two full piercings. The ones I watched were maybe 50 feet but I don't think it's unreasonable to think they could penitrate a helmet from 500 feet. I bet Beto researched that before he said it, anyway.

 

I've been there - once told someone who worked for the Miami Federal Reserve he was a smegma sucking bottom feeder. Never had reason to regret the comment.

 

I wonder if the guy who laughed would volunteer to put on an Army helmet and let himself be shot in the head with an AR-15 from 500 feet away. Don’t worry, it will be in semi-auto mode not fully automatic so it’s not a powerful weapon.

 

You don't know what he was laughing at, and neither do I. How do you know that he was not a devotee of Alex Jones and thinks that the entire school shooting was "made up" and "yet another false flag"??

This is what I know. During the discussion of murdered children, some psychopath laughed out loud. What he was laughing out loud in repsonse to, or the desired response from others, is unknown to anyone but him. Given how so many Republicans have gone off the deep end looking for stolen elections, faked school shootings, children sex slave rings at pizza restraunts, hatred of everyone not a WASP and Democrats drinking Adrenochrome from the enslaved children, I do not put it past this half-wit to be laughing at the thought of dead children given that they were mostly children of immigrants or illegals.

All of that sounds great. It still leaves one without the ability to claim he laughed at the school shooting. Its not hard to just say what we know and not make crap up to fit our narrative. It seems obvious to an objective person, and as someone very liberal when it comes to guns i think I qualify, that this person was (stupidly) laughing at the comment.
