I agree that the typical response to news events is different now but for each "hot head" that responds and amplified by our media, there are hundreds of millions that kept a cool head. Don't paint too broad a brush. "odd election"? Really? What "attempted violence" has occurred since the search warrant execution?
National defense info... pretty much what I suspected. Would not put it past him to be the names and details about our spies. The other thing I suspect is the Kennedy assassination info. He had a stiffy about that info.
"Summer of violence" is pretty rich too, I wouldn't pay much attention to the attempts of false equivalency.
Trump clearly brought close scrutiny of the classified documents he improperly took home with him upon himself. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2022/02/10/trump-records-classified/ "Some of the White House documents that Donald Trump improperly took to his Mar-a-Lago residence were clearly marked as classified, including documents at the “top secret” level, according to two people familiar with the matter. "The existence of clearly marked classified documents in the trove — which has not previously been reported — is likely to intensify the legal pressure that Trump or his staffers could face, and raises new questions about why the materials were taken out of the White House."
There was nothing "odd" about the election result. All the polls, including Faux News polls, had Biden winning comfortably. And that's what happened. The only thing "odd" (unAmerican) was Trump LYING about imaginary election fraud, Trump losing 63 out of 64 lawsuits over imaginary election fraud because he had NO EVIDENCE to support his BS claims, Trump trying to overturn the legitimate election result in several different ways, Trump planning and inciting a violent insurrection against Congress in session to certify the legitimate election result, and the cowardly GQP getting bullied into submission to dear leader Trump after initially condemning him for his insurrection.
Although the warrant isn't available to the general public, Trump has a copy of it and is always free to release it. Also, a search warrant requires probable cause. In simple terms that means that before a judge will issue a warrant the agency requesting the warrant must provide evidence that a crime (or crimes) had been committed and that there has to be a link between the alleged crime and material which is the subject of the warrant. It's a completely rational inference that a crime had been committed.
Trump will only have a list of what was taken. He could certainly publish it. In reality they need to decide what was planted first in order to make up their obfuscation talking points.
I believe there is already a list of what was planted. I believe it is filed along with the evidence of the millions of fraudulent votes cast in the 2020 presidential election.
"Hunter Biden's laptop repairman...." I'm convinced we live in an alternate timeline. The Republican Party is an actual group in this country....
And now predictably, an armed assault on an FBI field office. And Fox News, who spent endless time harping on the security of SCOTUS justices, wants all their viewers to know every life detail about the judge that issued this warrant.
While not a great equivalency, at least he acknowledged the looney tunes cult followers of the ex-President threatening violence. Baby steps I guess.
Hmmm…… Subpoena Preceded Search Warrant in Push to Retrieve Material From Trump Some senior Republicans have been warned by allies of Mr. Trump not to continue to be aggressive in criticizing the Justice Department and the F.B.I. over the matter because it is possible that more damaging information about Mr. Trump related to the search will eventually become public.
