It seems like Florida is already in that mindset where we are setting this thing up to maintain itself for years and years to come, whereas the Tennessee's, Miami's, etc. are blowing their load so to speak in the first season.

It's crazy if you look at the est avg NIl per team, (however accurate it is) we are at 41k which is like a fraction of some of the top 10 teams right now. Only o e in the top 15 even under 60k

And we are signing 4* guys from 8.9 to 9.2, big difference from a 4* at 9.7

 

I am not going to believe ANY NIL numbers until there is transparency and accountability. May never happen.

However, perception is going to be reality for players. So I hate to see us with a low number.

 

So what is the on field performance difference? Not just the mathematical difference. Kinda splitting hairs when the consensus consists of all the services which we know are all over the place so which one is right? I.mean a guy like James' avg is being hurt by the 3* rankings and NR he got from ESPN and Rivals. Mean while he is a top 200 player on 247 and a top 25 player on On3.

 

I expect that number to go up but hopefully not much if what Ruiz said comes true. Next year the NIL deals will not be as big or as many due to low ROI. Yes that paid out big this year like Miami won't be able to reciprocate that to te next class and some may feel slighted a bit. Take A&M (so far) this cycle. Looks like they blew their wad on last years massive haul. This year they are not spending or landing a ton of big fish this year, they are more selective it seems this cycle. That too may change but the longer they wait the less uncommitted talent there will be out there.

 

Estimates huh? Total speculation is another way of putting it.

Same with Andy Jean. If rival's staff watched his game films they'll know that he's a legit 4*. He's a big receiver too.

 

That is the average that On3 thinks each kid could earn / is valued at for NIL potential earnings based on their own made up formula / estimation. So, the higher rated the player the higher the estimate. So it is no surprise that the highest rated recruiting classes have the highest estimated average.


It is not based on anything to do with actual NIL deals that players may end up with. It is a total guess.

 

I’m for getting a class of the low fours over splurging on guys like Rashada. There’s bound to be some Toney’s and Trask’s in there.

 

Or an avearage of position/rank as to previous signing. It’s not just numbers out of the blue.
