So, how many do we take? Looking at the roster with 7 Sr's and 17 JR's

 

I think it’s impossible to say. The thing I wonder is how many pwo’s are bought that don’t end up on the 85? How long do teams stash them before they either make the roster or move on. Will we “cut” players to make room for talent and to what degree? How many do we need stashed to make up for the depth guys that hit the portal for playing time elsewhere? There’s a lot of moving parts.

Per 247, fifteen of seventeen recruits are from the state of Florida. That's a good thing. Fifteen of seventeen are also 4*s. I can't remember the last time we've seen that low of a percentage of 3*s on our commitment list (On a quick check, looks like you have to go back to 2008).

 

When’s the last time we’ve had this many commits this early?

 

This cycle has the potential to be very impressive.

 

Rivals has us with 11, 4 stars and 6, 3 stars, which is a bit puzzling but I'm not going to get too hung up on that.

I agree and am very pleased with what is happening, this weekend could really see another big "bump".

I temper my enthusiasm just a bit with what the rest of the conference is doing. But UF is headed for a nice close out, I feel real good about a top 10 finish which is what all us UF fans needed, to stay sane. Future is looking mighty promising.
UF recaptures Florida, we will be in the playoffs a BUNCH!

The SEC just DOMINATES recruiting though, wow, It's amazing.

What would be the perfect "Close Out" position wise, assuming 25 picks? (Not so much "names" - rather "positions")?

We have 17 so 8 left - I'm thinking:

D-Line 3
O-Line 2
Linebacker 2
Corner 1 (ok one name (lol) Mr. McClain of course!

Thoughts?

(I know some are looking for another running back)

 

We can take more than 25, as many as we want really , just have to be able to be under the 85 limit when it's time.

 

The sec playoffs start with the first sec game. Win the sec and it’s almost a sure national title barring an sec team doesn’t knock you off in the little boy playoffs.

They have a higher threshold for 4 star prospects. It's more about the ratings than the stars. I have more faith in Rivals than I do with On3. They rank Wilson as the #19 WR and Jean at #49. Do these guys even watch the players' clips?

 

They all have some off-the-wall shit. I don’t think they actually watch anything
