Beto doesn’t hold back when a supporter of Greg Abbott laughed loudly as Beto discussed the mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas. I wish more Democrats spoke like Beto instead of the milk toast reference to republicans as their “friends across the aisle.”

I don't give him credit for using the MF term. Could of used a ton of other terms that would have carried as much weight without the F word.

We're in big trouble if Beto and 'the squad' are left in charge.

My comment has nothing to do with their abilities or qualifications, its style and attitude. Plenty of Gen X Republicans too, like MTG. Also, like half the squad are Millenials not Gen X.

I wouldn’t lump Beto in with the squad. Being from Texas he’s had to be a lot more moderate than they are.

I do give him credit because studies show it’s effective in reducing both physical and emotional pain making it healthy. Further there is a direct correlation between the use of vulgarity and a person’s honesty. I doubt anyone who stubs their toes at night will blurt out “Oh shucks darns!”

The Abbott supporters were laughing at the Uvalde school shootings which is emotionally painful for anyone who cares about the life of post born children.

One of the many things I grew to hate about Trump was his language. Profanity is often a lazy mans way of expressing himself.

There are better, more professional ways to speak.

I agree woth Beto to some extent in regards to gun laws. Never a fan of that type of language especially in public like that.

They weren't laughing at the deaths. They were laughing at Betos point irt guns. Even honest dems know that.

I disagree with them on guns, but they werent laughing about the death of children. Thats dishonest at every level.

But you would also agree that isn’t exactly the setting or conversation to be cackling out loud?
I don’t like the language either, but that type of fire passion and strength is what the dems need - the republicans have had it for years, however misguided and downright crazy it’s been in many cases. Its largely why trump gets forgiven for his sins so easily by the right, in the words of Abraham Lincoln on why he liked general grant “he fights”.
This will resonate with dems everywhere.

We agree completely. Inappropriate to laugh, but they werent laughing about the death of children. Its dishonest to say so.
