Not in a criminal case, where you don't have to testify. And there is no Fifth Amendment right in a civil case unless the witness "reasonably believes [the disclosure] could be used in a criminal prosecution or could lead to other evidence that might be so used." (Kastigar v. U.S., 406 U.S. 441, 444-445 (1972). So, that is Trump's reason for asserting the Fifth.

And, in some states in certain situations, asserting the Fifth Amendment in a civil case gives rise to an adverse inference

Bill Clinton perjured himself. He made a deal with Starr. He agreed to suspension of his law license for 5 years. I guees that is why we never saw him at motion calendar handling a discovery dispute.

After they were out of office. Reflecting their lack of fitness for office. Still going to vote for Trump?

Corporate death penalty. I like it. Ban the whole family. I wonder if that will force any loan calls

NY AG may seek ‘corporate death penalty’ for Trump Tower — and all his golf courses: legal expert

In the coming weeks or even days, the AG is expected to file a massive, long-threatened 'enforcement action' — essentially a multi-hundred-page lawsuit against the Trumps and his Manhattan-based business," Business Insider reported Wednesday. "Fines and back taxes, however, may be the least of what Trump's facing. James has signaled she will also seek the dissolution of the business itself under New York's so-called corporate death penalty -- a law that allows the AG to seek to dissolve businesses that operate 'in a persistently fraudulent or illegal manner

Do you even realize what you said - that it wasn’t okay to take the 5th in the Obama administration but is for Trump and those in his? I’m perfectly ok with taking the 5th to avoid incriminating oneself. THAT, my friend, is exactly why Trump took it.

If Trump took a fat, McDonald’s-induced dump on his family, he’d scold his family for not getting out of the way.

No she didn’t. She turned over the DOS emails in response to the subpoena. She then cleared out her server, which also had data that was not responsive to the subpoena. By comparison. And, even after that, data was separately found on Weiner’s phone. Hilary cooperated so there was no need for a warrant to seize her phone. Trump kept documents and didn’t cooperate returning them. Bottom line: Hilary’s Personal e-mails were not evidence and there was no reason for her to keep her server after she complied. As for murders. No comment is needed. Right wing garbage.

I'm sure that he believed it. He probably heard the narrative about Hillary Clinton's email server and the murders from one or more of the following sources: Fox News, OAN, NewsMax, the Daily Caller, Breitbart, Inforwars or the late Rush Limbaugh's show and therefore the narratives must have been true.

A simple matter of justice. You are blind to the truth about mob boss Donald Trump.

No doubt you've heard the tape of Trump pressuring Georgia election officials to alter legitimate vote counts to find him one more vote than he needs to win the election in Georgia. No doubt you believe the investigation of that criminal activity by Trump is part of your imaginary "witch hunt".
