Don't throw me out with him, but I can't lie, I am always nervous with these Alabama recruits: Diabetes, Scooby, Shemar, Collins.
Scoob and Shemar were a fight to pull though. I do have faith in Coach Chaos like I did with CRob. Only difference is I didn't have faith in CRob to coach them up.
Is the Jaden Robinson (LB) flip "official" yet? It was reported on some SC rag earlier this evening. He's a lower (90) 4 star according to 247.
It's a highly rated DE from Alabama dude. It's negative to state the facts that the possibility of him signing with us go way down, if we can't get him to sign with us early? Ban yourself little man
Yeah LeBlanc showed up to campus 20 times and you see where that got us. Don't be one of those people that love recruiting so much, that you can't see reality dude
I understand where you’re coming from, as if Bama is going to go away just because he commits to us. Rrrrrright. Aside from their recruiters being in his ear and that he likely attends a couple of Bama games this season, there’s this pesky NIL thing where, it makes sense that, Bama’s going to up the price enough that it intrigues the family. I mean, half the board here is so sure that the only reason Bama recruits so well is that they PAY EVERYONE. So why would they not pay up in this case? Yes, it will be another level of satisfying and impressive if he commits to UF and sticks or, if he flips to us on ESD.
Coach toney already proved he can pull them from Bama with Shemar by sitting up all night playing video games with him. Don't see why he won't keep doing it.
He meant that they all signed and showed up to campus,Scooby, shemar, Diabate all signed, we've done well actually in the state of bama the last few years.
I think Toney was asked that in an interview this week. Says it didnt happen. Did say he would destroy Shemar in some games though.
That is no doubt true. But uncertainty is a street that runs in both directions, and Blue-Chip Billy has a recent record of being the "flipper" as opposed to the "flippee." Now if/when we do lose a kid down the road to Bama, or whomever, them's the breaks. But there's no harm in enjoying the fact that, to this point at least, we're holding our own reasonably well. And FTR, the "ban him" jab was almost certainly said in jest and should probably be taken with a grain of salt. Peace, out.
Ive always believed that teams are bought but have never insinuated that’s the only reason they recruit so well. It takes the total package and that includes you parents moving across the planet. Kids want to win and Bama runs a great program too. But yes they pay. They’ve been busted multiple times but never really punished too bad. When lsu got busted a couple years ago for giving two separate kids over 100k, do you act believe that was an isolated incident or just the ones that got caught. They were using a charity to fund recruiting and basically no punishment. Now tgat tge gloves are off, Miami is back to what got them titles if they have enough money to do so. Some other schools have much deeper pockets though. I think we are doing a good job of managing ours. Lots of kids from 8.9 to 9.3. There will be some talent in this class,
