Ok you got me. The point I’ll underscore is the frequency of homosexuality in movies and shows has increased disproportionately to the actual real population. It’s very clear.
What is the conversation like? My DIL teaches 4th grade. She is much more liberal than I have ever been. She is a dedicated teacher and never goes there. She doesn't know any teacher that does and she has now been teaching for almost 10 years. She has been rated "highly effective" every year. There is no there there Bluke, they seriously aren't talking about it!
That’s good to hear. But I doubt she’ll tell you if she does discuss it or hint at it. I feel the same way about religion in school btw. I would have a discussion with the administrator if teachers were passing subtle Christian ideas in the classroom too.

So you stopped her from watching the show then? But they aren't. My DIL is a badass, she wouldn't have a problem telling me if she were that way. She believes in rules and follows them explicitly. Outside of school she has no problem telling you how she feels, but she is serious about teaching and doing her job which means teaching children so they will be educated academically. My son wants her to leave the profession and get a job writing college curriculums at home, but she loves children and wants to make a difference. You should be more concerned with the latter of your post, we are moving in that direction.
