If it is a “Witch Hunt” or “fishing expedition,” how can his testimony possibly incriminate him?

And his quote that only mobsters and guilty people took the fifth? Being involved with construction in the northeast makes him at least mobster adjacent. Being buddies with Putin probably more so.

Wow. So you're ok with avoiding answering questions under oath if it's your guy?

How about those that were in trumpy's inner wheel house who did not plead the 5th. Do you believe them?

At face value this is a good point but when making statements, you'd better record yourself and rehearse that for the court because if you deviate slightly you will get picked apart.

Of course he does. No one ever said he didn’t. Except he himself said only guilt people plead the 5th. So there’s that.

And the NY AG also has the right to investigate him. And a federal judge the right to sign a search warrant for MAL.

But this is about the 5th thread in the last 2 days where you’ve reached conclusions as to his innocence with absolutely no more facts than anyone else has, while convicting those on the other side as being corrupt. And you completely overlook the simple fact that those wanting to speak with him may be completely within their lawful rights as well, all due to your partisan political outlook and not as to what’s lawful or otherwise.

We did see him practicing his call for the J6 insurrectionists to leave the Capital - he's going to need a lot of practice. Even after all those takes he came across insincere and sent a message of love to the rioters.

If he is not guilty of anything, he is perfectly capable of simply telling the truth. That would be powerful. Like Hillary in front of a panel of Republicans for 11 hours under oath - on TV.

No, he’s a perjury machine. If he were my client I’d duct tape his mouth shut, then turn him over and duct tape his ass for good measure because that’s what he talks out of most once he starts riffing nonsense.

If I was Trump’s lawyer, I wouldn’t let that dumbass talk under oath even if I had ironclad, on-video, witnessed-by-three-unimpeachable individuals evidence that the government had framed him. The whole world saw his grossly undisciplined performance during the Presidential debates. He wouldn’t be a contempt-of-court risk; he would be a contempt-of-court certainty.

I believe Giuliani when he says that having to travel to testify in Georgia would be a pain in the ass.

In most cases this probably works in an innocent persons favor. However, the problem is you aren't giving information to a perfect system. You are putting yourself at a disadvantage by giving any information up until you absolutely have to. Innocent people are wrongly accused all the time and people can get into sticky situations just by giving a statement to the police simply trying to be a good samaritan.

He's probably still recovering from that vicious beating he took from that kid in the grocery store who trashed him within an inch of his life ...

If Hilary took the 5th on anything the right wing world would explode. I’d also question her innocence. Anyone can legally take the fifth but you lose all moral and ethical high ground. Trumps a crook. Self admitted now.

Clinton could have pled the 5th during the Starr inquiry.

Instead he chose not to, continued to lie and got impeached for perjury.

Probably a very good decision by 45, but don’t believe for a minute he altruistically did it to protect those around him. He’s not that magnanimous.
