Are you naturally born if you are already dead? If that is not a question for the Supreme Court, I don't know what is.
Get another stand and keep it up all the time. Not sure if you had a grandfather or uncle or dad or friend….. that died for that flag. They deserve more than flag day.
Mine too. Also one on my mantle. A neighbor down the road had a GIANT trump banner and flag on his picket fence. The weekend trump insulted the American war dead in France he took all that down. He is a Marine veteran.
I don’t feel like the flag represents the military. The two should not be conflated, IMO. The flag represents all of us, equally. Citizen and civilian, right and left, etc… I do appreciate what you said, though. I just don’t want people to think that they don’t own the flag just as much as veterans.
I’m cool with it if that’s how they feel… but I better not ever hear them complain about Colin Kaepernick taking a knee, though.
I find people as extreme freaks if they fly the flag next to Trump 2020 flags or for godsake...on their trucks. For real folks..we are all American. Your truck flag flying thing really exposes your ignorance and civil weakness.
Give it a rest. Nobody dies for a flag. They go to war because a. they were told too. b. they hold political beliefs that drive them too. I spent 12 years in the USAF.. i knew what i signed up for and could have ended up dead. Not one time waa my calling for a flag and as much as i honored it...the real is that i signed up to be told what to do and i did honorably.
Reagan said, "Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction." Too many people go on thinking now is never the time. The people who need their asses kicked are the ones who are sleeping through it.
