You are making up shit again. Embarrassing. You have no idea if they threatened to get the DOJ involved. Keep thinking this wasn't political.

nah, they have the lockdowns and school closures to run on along with CRT and Teaching young children about sexual identity. They will win in a bloodbath even though the supreme court gave the dems some cover by overturning roe v wade. Will be a blowout but you and everyone else knows that. This will only help unless it was something serious.

Yes, i want him indicted. This won't get him indicted. Anyone with a brain can see that. Swing and a miss.

people laugh, but kompromat is a fundamental way of doing business in Russia, and has been for a long time. Practically every prominent businessman that visits is offered temptation, and it often involves surveillance to gather compromising information to be used as leverage in business negotiations. I was warned of this many moons before Trump became a pub champion when dealing with a Russian client.

They got the DOJ involved. And they announced it via the media. So yes, he was aware of it. Should have been aware of it more than 6 months ago. The FBI is part of the DOJ.

So what else would you like to add to your suggestion now?

Seriously though, I would love to know where that is. Can you imagine how much it would bring in at auction?

You don't know that, as Comey once famously said, "All FBI investigations are criminal investigations". If the rumors of Trump keeping the highest level of classified documents without the appropriate level of security are true, he should face charges.

Here is commentary from NatSec attorney Bradley Moss on the potential issues with improper packaging, shipping and storing of classified material.

    It's worth a read.

Right now polls suggest Democrats will see a one seat gain in the senate to 51-49 and 20 seat loss in the House putting them down 200-230.

My twitter feed is absolutely swamped with just horrible takes on the likes of FoxNews and NewsMax. Just a bizarre rush to defend trump in any way possible.

"Why didn't the Secret Service stop the search?"
    "FBI broke into trump's safe!"
"It's no like trump was going to flush the docs down the toilet"
"No president has ever been the target of a search warrant (at his home)"
"Biden's FBI ransacks home of 2024 opponent"
"Sen. Roger Marshall calls for Chris Wray and Merrick Garland to take questions from Jim Jordan and hold a press conference with "real reporters""
"Rick Scott says the FBI raid of Mar-a-Lago is like the Nazis and the Soviet Union and Latin American dictatorships"

I have no idea, but we’ve known since February that he removed classified documents.

National Archives acknowledges classified documents were found in boxes at Mar-a-Lago after Trump left office

I'm sure the "raid" yesterday really moves the needle on Trump either way. His cult supporters love him. Everyone else hates him.

Right now, Trump is controlling the narrative on the raid. But I don't expect that will last. The DOJ will stay quiet and hope the story fades. If not, I expect the DOJ to release a simple statement that they executed a legal warrant, signed by a judge, looking for evidence that Trump was illegally holding sensitive documents belonging to the people at Mar a Lago. And that these documents were requested to be returned by Trump, were not included in the February document return, and Trump had months to comply with the request. Since he did not, and wasn't going to comply, the DOJ and FBI were requested to get involved. Might do this during a Friday dump, just to put it out there for others to reference.

I doubt the DOJ does anything more than a simple statement before the Nov midterms. One, it would look too political. And two, it's going to take time to go through what the FBI did recover.

And those worried about what the FBI or any LEO can do to you because of this is ridiculous. If there is evidence you are committing a crime, and you are concealing said evidence in your home, the LEO with jurisdiction can always get a warrant signed by a judge, and search your home. That hasn't changed just because a former President was the one served. It's also ironic that the party of law of order is upset that that the FBI followed the law, got a warrant signed by a judge, and executed a legal search.
