There’s basically no chance this was a “charade” since a judge signed off, and we also know the National Archives was already concerned with “missing documents” (and unless I imagined it, didn’t Trump deny anything was stashed at Mar-A-Lago?). Its also notable no media was involved - so it wasn’t intended as a dog and pony show - Trump himself broke the news of the “raid” - describing it in hyperbolic terms (when in reality secret service is already is stationed on the premises). That being said, they should be as transparent as possible despite the documents themselves being classified. It would surely be helpful to know what they were after and what they found. I would say it better be something pretty serious beyond even hiding 1/6 documents (I’m thinking nuclear secrets or military secrets or foreign intel he was hoping to trade on, the guy has no bottom so I can imagine anything).

This action just sent all conservatives (or at least the true ones) back into Trump's corner. This whole thing will help Trump. Almost all conservatives will now be firmly backing Trump whereas some before might have wanted DeSantis or someone else.

I will also say that while I don't think this illegal raid alone will cause major civil unrest and/or a Civil War, I do believe that if Trump is arrested and charged that will spark major civil unrest and possibly a Civil War. I'm sure the Democrats are hoping for it so they can have one of their dreams and declare Martial Law.
There was a reason that DOJ requested the warrant and the judge approved the request for the warrant. If Trump had known in advance that the DOJ wanted the documents he almost certainly would have destroyed them. Let's not forget his history. Ignore the troll. It's the only way. I had a conversation with one of my best friends last Friday. We never really talk politics, but we did over wine. She absolutely knew NOTHING about what is going on. She did vote for Trump the first time, but became quickly disillusioned shortly afterward and did not vote for him again. She thought the left wants to allow perfectly healthy babies aborted up to the due date, she didn't know about the "laws" that DeSantis has passed which we both agreed were government overreach. She is a Christian but believes in a woman's right to bodily autonomy. I opened her eyes to so much that she is going to start reading more to become aware of what is going on. It shows that there are most likely millions like her, no wonder we are fighting like this.
I worry that this will backfire and make trump seem the victim. Of course he will play the victim anyways, but the reason for the raid better be good because this will unfortunately give trump ammo to use.
It's a double edged sword, but we have to set a precedent for future presidents. If there is something there, and he is prosecuted, he'll be a martyr. Not that he isn't anyway to his followers. He needs to be held accountable for Jan 6th and for actively trying to overturn a fair and free election. JMO
