Respectfully, if you don’t speak a second language already (you may), I think you likely underestimate how hard it is to become fluent or even conversational as an adult unless you are uniquely gifted with languages. My understanding is that most immigrants here don’t speak English at home but they do by the second or third generation. Still many get mad about government documents even having translations for folks who are learning. Meanwhile, they ignore the huge benefits of linguistic diversity.
And yet all that matters is Trump won Floria 51% to 47% and it was never really in question all night. 2016 was closer so if anything with the voter rolls being cleaned up (eliminated the widespread cheating in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties) Florida is trending more red. There are now more registered Republicans than Democrats in Florida for the first time in state history. Florida also voted almost 8% to the right of the nation. Biden only won 12 counties in Florida and 6 of those were South Florida and Orlando. Trump even made more roads into some Hispanic countries that typical Republican candidates have never had any success with.
Between this and the 87000 new IRS employees how does this not set a dangerous precedent? Oh and for the “no one is above the law” folks I sure hope you’re using that same energy with all the other politicians and celebrities
Hearing a lot of chatter from law enforcement types that the FBI would not have done this unless they were absolutely sure there was something to find, possible an informant or flipped someone close to Trump.
Never said it was easy but it was also their decision to come to the U.S. No one is forcing them to come here. I never said I would be proficient before getting there but I would make an effort to learn as much of the language as possible before arriving. Due to my job (transportation) I've interacted with a lot of immigrants. The amount who have lived here 10 - 15 years and yet can't say more than a few words of English is amazing. It's lazy and honestly a little insulting. It takes effort to essentially not learn much of the language after being here that long.
Spoiler Alert: Unless they are Democrat and then there is a completely different standard. They will say they will but we know they don't. Rules for thee, not for me.
In other words, you were wrong about Tampa and Jacksonville. It's okay to admit it. And it's okay to be upset that Trump lost the 2020 election and is now being raided by the FBI for the crimes he committed. Sometimes, your heroes come up short.
I don't pay attention to the national popular vote as that is not how we elect people in a Representative Republic (not a Democracy). I only pay attention to the Electoral College.
Miami also has a Republican mayor. That doesn't make it a conservative city. Louisiana has a Democratic Governor. That doesn't make it a liberal state. You were wrong, but at least you're consistent in being wrong.
" . . . with the voter rolls being cleaned up (eliminated the widespread cheating in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties) . . . " Never a link proving the made up BS!
Nice try but now who's the one trying to incite violence? Never said I would participate, just said I know it's inevitable.
I would hope that was the case and given the unprecedented and controversial nature of it, I believe the FBI and the Federal judge who signed the warrant are absolutely sure. For the country's sake I hope that evidence and possible charges come quickly.
