According sources Chris Thomas who was allowed back to the team on Thursday but was cut from the roster back in June along two other players due to issues with buying in to Napier's desired culture. Also according to reports Richard Gouraige is currently rehabbing a minor lower body injury. Alo wearing non contact jerseys beside Gouraige are Jonathan Odom, S Dakota Mitchell and K Trey Smack. It seems like Austin Barber its taking advantage of Gouraige absence. One more note former Clemson OL Kaleb Boateng who transfer to UF as a walk on its now playing in the DL.
It seems like Napier handed out a detailed report to all the players before camp started on their penalties last season, divided by game. The penalties that were avoidable (false start, offsides, procedures) were highlighted. He said that it was shocking and embarrassing to see it.
Don't know if this has been posted or not, but Louisiana's OT Caden Jones has UF on his top 5. Jones is planning on taking a official visit to UF in December, has yet to announce a date for his commitment.
CB Jaydon Hill still isn't participating in practice as he hasn't recover from injury in 2021. On a sad note for Gators fans Amari Burney is playing first string along Ventrell Miller, however it seems Shemar James is gaining ground on Burney and Derek Wingo looks like he has improved his ability to key the run and shed blockers downhill compared to Spring practice. Jeremiah Williams and Diwun Black are behind those four.
This is the recruiting page. Why don’t you post this on the Swamp Gas fall practice thread where it belongs
dude if you don't like it , don't read it, by the way when will you bring something to this site, instead of crap.
Why would any Gator fan be sad that a great kid that has worked hard for 4+ years is playing well and starting at LB?
Says the person who does nothing but repost shit that has already been posted 100 times and never gives a source. Lol
4th leading returning tackler from last year....where he had more than guys like Cox, Elam, Zach Carter, Trevez, and a ton of others. Was also 4th on the team in pass breakups. All despite only starting 2 games. Seems productive to me. But proceed with your cheap shots on a guy that has done nothing but work hard and never cause any trouble. I'm sure your contributions to UF football success make his accomplishments pale in comparison.
This is a problem we have experienced with converting someone farther from the snap in high school (S and wing) to ILB and there is a steep learning curve and the player doesn't look instinctive. Then everybody thinks the player must not be good despite all the athleticism. We need to be patient with others like Wingo and Black. I expect Bateman, regardless of apparent recruiting deficiencies, will be a huge upgrade from CRob.
I'm not certain how hammering a young man for past on the field play denotes recruiting info?? It just doesn't make sense to completely bash any person who continues to sweat and work to be a better player and man!! I've been around a long time, walking away from an argument show's more maturity than continuing this foolishness!! Looking forward to seeing how Napier, Bateman, and staff help all the players grow.. Just wish Gatorcountry had a spring training for posting!! Go Gators!!
