10-4 on the “stupid media”. But the “cheapskate NIL” schtick is off-target. According to one post on these boards, Gator Collective is apparently in the top 10. UF is simply not playing the “pay for play to the highest bidder” game. Since you either haven’t noticed, or refuse to, our 23 recruiting class is top 15 and climbing, and it’s with 4* kids who want to be Gators. That’s the right way to run your operation in these new times and it looks to be working just fine for Napier.

EDIT: keep in mind that this is a team that went 6-6 last season and has a new head coach who is in his very first P5 gig. If we end up with a top 10 recruiting class that’ll be effectively knocking it out of the park for our transition class. No more whining

 

right or just tell those coaches you aren’t focused on their school and if anything changes, they (the kid) will reach out to the staff to reopen recruitment.

and if the Dijon is going back to OSU because someone on UF side leaked it, isn’t the same thing happening now with it leaking out he going to recommit to OSU?

Ohio State just lost a TE commit to Bama. Have had a few decommits. Distance from family could play a factor. I think coaching staff and Army have to keep everything tight until a kid commits. Don’t want to steal the HS kids Thunder or stain their special day. That said, sometimes the kids are the ones that tell the recruiting services things in confidence, but those services make no money by staying silent. They make their money by being first. Can’t be trusted.

 

It's not because of the leak, this one is 100% NIL related. The OSU writers are basically saying as much.
