Is back on roster at a position of need. I hope he contributes this year. I've always thought he had the talent. He had done everything the staff has asked him to do, so I take that as a sign of maturity.
If I remember right, he had some decent offers (UGA being one). Sometimes people seize the second-chance and make the most. Rooting for him.
I know what you mean. Likely that he gave his word to the staff. Lets hope his determination wins out. And like any team, we need a solid, deep DL.
He has some physical redeeming characteristics that are hard to replace. I have to think his mom and grandmother tore him a new one when he lost his scholarship. Will he get it back?
I read somewhere that first year coaches can cut kids from scholarship, but they can remain in school through their 4 years. Not sure if that applied to Thomas. But definitely hoping ha makes good on this opportunity.
This could be Huge. Many were high on him when he committed. He certainly the physical attributes to succeed.
Never in the portal. Very talented. This is very positive news. Hoping he can give us 10 snaps a game.
Don't think there was a connection. Thomas is much more valuable to the team right now than Livingston would be. They were going to make room for Thomas regardless of Livingston's status.
Depends on why he was cut and why he was brought back... If he was cut because he just wasn't good enough on field or off, but is suddenly brought back that could mean we are going to miss out on better options on the recruiting trail. It could of course just mean he has fixed issues that the staff was not happy about and if so more kudos to him and the staff for working through it.
