Impeachment I. Trump abused the power of the Pesidency by illegally withholding Congessionally approved foreign aid by more then 45 days without notice, and only promised to release the monies in exchange for an announcement by the foreign leader of an investigation into a Trump political rival.

Impeachment II. Propped up by the big lie Trump's own AG called "bullshit," Trump incited a riot turned seditious insurrection attempt to violently overturn the results of a democratic election that by all counts, was free and fair.

Personal Integrity? No, that’s character- Upholding her oath of office even at a personal cost? No, that’s character. Putting country ahead of party? No, that’s being a good American. I give up. Her political views are very conservative. Maybe the Chaney haters have got woke and will be voting for Joe this go-around. Has to be it.

Perhaps poster does not realize he did not provide an answer to the question
Poster's answer : "Well for starters , voting with the wacko left on impeachment. She's dead to most conservatives and Republicans. I excited to see that piece of crap get booted"

The question was "Please give us one single policy that Cheney has sided with liberals that was not widely bipartisan (ie for veterans, etc). You just posted that she has. I'll wait."

As anyone can observe, poster answered a completely different question that had was never asked " why do you dislike Liz Cheney? So to be clear, please illustrate the policies on which she sided with liberals that was not widely bipartisan (ie for veterans, etc). I'll wait.

Liz voted with Trump more than most of them in Congress. She gets no sympathy from me

Texas and Florida are next on his list. Both republican states at least for now.

I do remember that. It was because ID'd someone by color. Lol. It was of the wall silly and I had to explain to my daughter that saying someone is (insert color) is not racist. It wasnt even negative. It was like "who was that guy in that show? The black dude with the bald head?." Type of thing.

My daughter is an 18 year old that leans way left of me btw, but she is level headed and isnt nonsensical about most things. Just finding her way.

Right, but if I recall you blamed the culture for putting that idea in her head to begin with, rather than just you know, basic kid ignorance

For one thing she is so desperate to win reelection that she's actually begging the Democrats to vote for her... as if she has been doing them favors since she got elected... she has. And she voted to impeach President Trump.

Now I don't care how much Pubs disagree, but she as a pub crossed a line that there is not coming back from when she voted for that phony BS impeachment.

And now she's leading the charge for the January 6th protests. And she's trying to blame President Trump for all that too.

She does not care about the will of the people. Nor does she care about what Republicans in her state want.

She is out for her own self... power... money.

As we all knew, Cheney's sin was lack of fealty to the dear leader, not to Conservatism. Sad, be better

Impeachment was not phony. Neither one. They really happened. Until d trump came along no senator from a president’s own party had ever voted to convict. There were votes to convict in both impeachments. In his 2nd impeachment there were 7 who chose being American over being Republican. Unprecedented. trump setting records.

Well ot is culture. We are all products of culture. The fact that racism is so flippantly used these days is a product of culture. I bet "White Men Cant Jump" couldn't be a movie title these days.

Racism is one our greatest evils as humans. But its become a cultural norm to just toss the word around.

Perhaps it is tossed around some, but there is a heck of a lot of racial insensitivity, which in and of itself masks a lot of latent racism. You have to either be black or you have to be raised in areas where segregation and hostility towards blacks were prevalent, like I was, to fully recognize it. I see it not only all around me here in Western North Carolina, I see it repeatedly from some posters here. The entire MAGA thing on the heels of 8 years of Obama is coded racism. I'd be willing to bet you that at least 50% - and I'm being generous - of current Trump supporters are racist at heart. Next time a black is killed by a cop, watch who immediayely rushes to defend the cops, as happened when Floyd was murdered. Indeed, that's what this entire MAGA movement and the mocking of BLM is mostly about. Many whites see people of color infringing on their centuries of white privilege.

I love the western part of this state. I go there often. My daughter is heading to App State this fall

But it is like driving back in time when you hit I-77. I can assure you your number is a million miles off in most other places, including the east side of this state.

Regardless, the point was my daughter called it racist that a man on TV was described by his skin color as a reference.
