That says a lot about the people of Arizona. Not all of them, of course. I'm not going to go there and find out how many.

Never thought I could think so well of an offspring of Dick Cheney.

State of the Republican Party. They are getting everything they deserve as the freaks take over the place. I look forward to years of Trump children, MTGs, Gaetz, and all the other morons who run the party over there. Most of the sane ones are being voted out or getting out.

Republicans rejecting one of their most conservatives members for not fitting the mold they have imagined for themselves? That tells us a lot about the current Republican party.

Not great for the Republican Party to lose one of their most principled elected officials. She’ll get replaced with a Trumpist.

Arizona voted for Biden. And in our Senate race, D Mark Kelly leads any R challenger by 9 points in the latest poll. The R challenger will likely be Trump clone Blake Masters. Primary is today.

As for Wyoming, goes to show there is no true conservative party anymore. It's Trumpworld. Fealty to the orange diety is the only requirement. Any deviation gets you kicked to the curb.

If Liz Cheney is defeated in the Republican primary which is very likely the result would once again demonstrate that the Republican Party has devolved from a rational conservative party to a cult of personality built on the adoration of a charismatic demagogue. Remember that Cheney's voting record is among the most conservative in the House and that she voted to enact almost all of Trump's legislative proposals. She was not and is not a "lib". By way if Cheney does lose there is always the possibility that she will try to pull a "Murkowski" and run as an independent and if she does I think there is good chance that she could retain her House seat. For those who do not recall in 2010 Lisa Murkowski lost the Republican Senate primary in Alaska to Joe Miller, a Tea Party candidate supported by Sarah Palin. Murkowski then ran as an independent write-in candidate and won defeating both the Democratic candidate and Miller.

Won as a write-candidate in a state where spelling counts, with a name like Murkowski :)

I don’t know about the forward party but I would hope she would win as an independent.

    9. Wyoming

No state relies more on funding from the federal government than Wyoming, where 56.43% of the state’s revenue comes from Washington D.C. Wyoming also has the ninth-largest difference between federal dollars received and income taxes paid. For every $1 dollar in income tax that’s paid in Wyoming, the state receives $1.36 in federal funding. Federal workers also comprise 3.37% of the workforce in Wyoming, the ninth-highest percentage in our study.
