Mine was joking, but with a message. However, you’re revealing yourself if you truly believe that people occupying our streets in legitimate protest are extremists. How can you compare them to the people who broke into the Capitol on January 6. Most important to me is how did you find out that my last name is Frances? Did you somehow get into my account information?

Did you listen to the attached rendition of The Star Spangled Banner played by Hendrix at Woodstock? I grew up a few miles from there. In the old days that area was the summer mecca for basketball. No where else could you see a high school kid named Lew Alcindor go
at it against Wilt Chamberlain.

 

I didnt click on since the nature of our last few post had me expecting to be Rick Rolled.

This thread shows us why THFSG is actually balanced. There may be more Dems than Cons around here since the great purge but everybody gets to post views/positions and debate.
This thread has one conservative (my personal fav one) sort of dressing down the OP while another conservative (another fav of mine) defends said OP. It is really a thing of beauty if you ask me.
I don't block anyone because I want to see some of what I consider to be complete conspiracy nuttiness in full view, which you really only get on-line these days. There are some crazies on both sides here and I wouldn't want it any other way.

I tend to agree although from my recollection the departure of a significant number of conservative posters was more like a great voluntary exodus than a great purge. If I recall a number of conservatives posters decided to exit because they didn't want to conform to the (then) new guidelines regarding the use of language. Apparently they just couldn't help themselves regarding the use of certain demeaning terms that they preferred to use in their posts referencing liberal politicians especially Hillary Clinton and the former president, not the immediate one but the black guy who actually received a majority of the popular vote in the two elections in which he ran for the office.

 

I meant Self purge. I don't miss any of those posters due to the insults and general nastiness they (for the most part) displayed. I actually wanted to ask a few to come to Denver and say something similar to my face. Yeah, they made some people fighting mad at some of that inane chit.

 

He is crowing about putting $30 back in people's pockets, and he isn't done. I guess there is another $30 coming???

Yeah its very out of touch in light of the massive inflation we seen the last few years. That $30 is a measly amount for most families at this point.
