By the way, corporate elites and communists and socialists also have free speech in this country. The State can’t punish the message. Now, in Russia, the law allows that. Please establish which counties, teachers, schools were "messing with" any significant number of Florida pre-3 graders. DeSantis was not forthcoming . of course, but you certainly must have a number of verifiable instances to link for us. We'll await.

 

The key word up their is ESG “investors”. It is their money. They own a share of the company. Do you not think that investors should have a say in how the company is run? Are you against free markets?

If it turns out that ESG is a bad idea in terms of profitability other investors will withdraw their money and move it to places more to their liking. Again, free market.

I am baffled how certain conservatives are willing to abandon the free market and look to big government to enforce their own cultural values. This is not unlike how communist China influences businesses. Eventually the government meddling gets so bad investors flee their investments and entrepreneurship diminishes.
