Print (flgov.com) ESG investors prioritize woke corporate ideals and non-financial factors as part of their investing process. ESG investors are corporate cartel elites who do not represent the will of the people, but rather base their investment strategies on social causes and virtue signaling while driving up costs for consumers in the name of diversity and sidelining hardworking Americans by threatening their livelihoods. Governance, AKA, an “ESG score,” is a framework created to force companies to meet ESG standards, disadvantaging small, medium, and start-up businesses which cannot cope with increased costs to compete with woke mega corporations, and subverting the will of their shareholders.
Okay. McKinsey has a pretty big group. As does Blackrock. As do a lot of financial analyst groups. They receive their funding from a variety of corporations, investment funds, and people with a variety of interests.
Lol, why would I care if somebody wants to invest in moral and ethical companies to the exclusion of companies they consider immoral or unethical?
And this is how we know you lost the debate. Because, as I pointed out, you know nothing about this and have chosen to be a socialist to own the people you view as socialists. Good work!
Lol. You have yet to actually provide any evidence to suggest that a single thing I said was inaccurate. How about you try that? I suspect it is because you are in so over your head on this that all you know is what the Governor told you about the topic and you parroted it without thought... Let's start with a very simple question: who is it that produces an ESG estimate/measure, specifically?
Asked you first. Still a fail. You disagree with DeSantis. There isn't anything else to know. You agree with Joe Biden. There isn't anything else to know. From my perspective, your judgements are questionable at best.
Doubt away, but it's the truth. I don't Christian values being used to grade the success or failure of a corporation. Likewise, I don't want your woke values being used to grade the success or failure of a corporation.
No. I asked him first. If you'd like to do the research, have at it. Apparently, you are an acceptable substitute. Go.
I gave you an answer (to generalize the prior answer: financial consultancies, financial analyst firms, and investment banks). You failed to dispute it with anything substantive. Now you are deflecting to avoid providing anything of actual specific substance. Good job demonstrating how far your head is below water on this.
Yeah, I'm definitely doubting away. So why doesn't DeSantis's proposal single out faith-based investing the way it singles out ESG? Because the entire point of this proposal is to own woke libs and to appeal to right-wingers such as yourself. It's just more DeSantis performative bullshit and you are eating it up.
I'm blown away you'd make an argument this laughably bad. The companies and shareholders are driving the ESG movement. The government punishing companies for expressing certain values is anti-free speech. This isn't rocket science. Keep doing your mental gymnastics to justify supporting a governor who is openly hostile to the First Amendment.
