Wouldn't be the first time someone from Montgomery came to UF. My mom was born there, attended Huntington College, then came to UF through the transfer portal after her freshman year. I don't think that's what they called it back in '49.

Best of luck to the young man. Might mean that Sorey and Jean are in the bag. Might also mean that Sorey can stay at WR, assuming that's the position he wants to play.

 

Once that check is cashed, I doubt many of those guys are a signing day flip anymore.

Well what is to stop a recruit from taking some cash upfront from one school but taking even more cash from a second school upfront to flip? It’s not like the booster or school or collective can do anything. If they bust a signed contract in a lawsuit.,,now the ncaa actually has evidence of inducements pre enrollment,

You're probably right. But the squirrels who live in the back of my head advise me that the duplicity and heedless opportunism of the average 17 YO are almost impossible to overestimate.
