Says the former US President while hosting a Saudi backed tournament on one of his courses.

'Trump tells ESPN "nobody's gotten to the bottom of 9/11, unfortunately" when asked about criticism he's received from 9/11 families for hosting Saudi-backed golf tour at his Bedminster club. "Nobody’s gotten to the bottom of 9/11, unfortunately. And they should have."'

It is a terrible reflection on us that he was elected as our president.

For once he's not lying. I'll never forget the 9/11 Omission Report stating that the question of who helped finance 9/11 was "not significant." Like who cares, right? (A Joint Congressional Intelligence Report concluded that it was Saudi Arabia, though George W. Bush deleted over 20 pages of the report to try to protect his Saudi friends.)

I am pretty sure he meant:

"Nobody’s gotten to the bottom of 9/11, unfortunately. And I should have."

At least Trump tried to implicate Ted Cruz's daddy in the JFK assassination.

Crazy that he was the Zodiac killer and also JFKs assassin. Maybe he's DB Cooper too.

Understandable, the hunt for Osama bin Laden and a 20 year war were such small news items it would have been easy to overlook

Oh, stop. You used to be on here saying that the passengers and the so-called terrorists were all disappeared, the planes were operated by remote control, they just happened to hit the buildings in the exact spot where the military-industrial complex set up the super thermite to bring the buildings down, the super-thermite was so super it didn't go off by sympathetic detonation but was deliberately triggered later, the Jews all stayed home that day because they were warned by Israel, etc, etc.

Don't make like your 9/11 myther nonsense is now reduced to how much the Saudi government paid terrorists to terrorize somewhere other than inside Saudi Arabia.

I do not know what he is talking about (specific to 9/11 or in general), however, there are a lot of details from 9/11 that were misreported, misremembered, distorted, etc.. and that has led to many unanswered questions from 9/11. That does not mean that there was some grand conspiracy, it means that in the face of a National Disaster that human memory becomes faultier than normal.

You're full of crap unless you can give me a link. There are a lot of unanswered questions about 9/11, I discussed them here, but attributing to me all the stuff listed in your post is a lie that would make Trump envious.

Okay, I included some absurd exaggerations in my list (like about the Jewish people staying home that day). But go ahead and say you never once wrote that the planes were piloted by remote control or that the buildings were brought down by deliberate detonation. Please say that.

But he knew this. And it was also a lie. After the towers came down, he owned the 4th highest building in lower Manhattan.

Although his bldg was undamaged, and his business unaffected, he somehow got $150,000 from a state govt fund intended to help small businesses affected by the attack.

And somebody should get to the bottom of that.

I know corruption rules but does it have to be so obvious.

I remember discussing both possibilities, remote control and deliberate detonation. Anyone can watch the buildings collapse (in particular Building 7, not even hit by a plane) and make his or her own judgment. But how would I know? As I said, Trump wasn't lying when he said no one got to the bottom of 9/11. Let me ask you, do you think the question of who helped finance 9/11 is insignificant? And do you think Bush trying to suppress the findings of an intelligence report is just "nonsense" from me?

It's not nonsense at all. I think it's a relatively small issue in context (but darkly amusing that this what you are now hanging your hat on instead of the silly, often contradicting conspiracies you were espousing before). As I said, the Saudis paid (and if we're being honest, still pay) al-Qaeda and all other manner of Wahhabist troublemakers to go make trouble somewhere else. You call that "financing," which I suppose is technically true, but I think the term "financing" implies that Saudi Arabia deliberately gave Bin Laden a specified amount of money for the specific purpose of carrying out the 9/11 attacks. No, they paid them tribute just like they paid pirates and desert raiders tribute for centuries before that. And while I have a problem with tribute in general, I don't think it was this big secret either. By the way, the deal that Clinton struck with North Korea was naked tribute, too, but I wouldn't say we financed the North Korean nuclear arms program. Same thing with Obama's deal with Iran: naked tribute. You characterize President Bush as suppressing this information. He certainly had it classified at the time in the national interest (which it was, given how much we needed Saudi Arabian help to go after al-Qaeda). I would have made the same decision, too. The truth always ends up coming out on these things.

There was an amazing collection of data from 9/11 in a website titled 'Debunking 9/11' that no longer exists. It addressed every aspect including supposedly "untouched" WTC7, steel expansion, amount of fuel source, firefighters misconstrued quotes, plane debris at tge pentagon etc etc. It had every bit of source material you could imagine. It's a shame it's no longer around although my conspiracy theorist friends wouldn't so much as take any time to research it because their minds were made up.

Sadly, that's how religion works. And 9/11 Mythism is a religion. You'll have as much success explaining to a Young Earth Creationist the science of radiometric dating.
