Well, I at least believe you don't watch Fox News because Bob Beckel is dead.

So, his time on Fox and being a "balanced" part of the equation does not count? Um, who exactly is the Father of our country? Can't say Washington, since he is dead.

I guess Rancid Rand Paul will now accuse Fauci's agency of funding the animal market.

To me it does not matter where it originated. China deliberately set it loose from Wuhan all over the world. they would not let anyone in Wuhan go elsewhere in China, but let Wuhan residents go all over the world.

they definitely should be held accountable for the delays in recognition and isolation that helped with the rapid spread.

On the subject of accountability, who should be held accountable for lying to the American people, telling them that this virus from China would just disappear? And when it didn't, well about how some bleach?

Nothing wrong with righteous bitterness. It is just this confirmation bias trait we seem to embrace. CNN is part noble, part BLM spokesman: well, they mean well. Fox, regardless of who actually has key roles on popular news commentary shows, is EVIL, end of conversation!!!

Your country is going to H__L in a hand-basket, and that seems pretty damn correct. I just fundamentally disagree with on who you believe is responsible. You "believe" it is those Pubs/Social Conservatives/Fox News people. I don't say "Oh yeah? Dems/'Identify However you Want' victim enablers/CNN is THE evil, you bunch of damn communists!!!"

I merely say, the people in power are not as stupid as us minions. This is all by design. You all throw your righteous hand grenades and we throw ours. It keeps us distracted, malleable, fear mongering believing, all while they - the elites on both sides of the aisle - get rich off of our efforts.

You just have to stop being angry at scapegoats and begin to discern how we got here. I recall a post you made that basically said "it was over in 1963 by the actions and aftermath of the JFK assassination." That was almost 60 years ago. I believe you are slightly older than me (I am in my middle 60s, graduated in 1980) and I was in the first grade when "the event" took place. I remember seeing the funeral events on TV. So...nothing nefarious, other than the EVIL PUBS/CONSERVATIVES, has taken place since? Really???

You are wrong about what I believe. The ultimate responsibility lies with the American people's denial about their leaders, denial that has gone on for decades. To quote Pogo, "We have met the enemy and it is us."

I know how we got here. To quote James W. Douglas (read on), "The Unspeakable is not far away."

Of course something nefarious is taking place. Probably the best book on the JFK assassination is James W. Douglas' "JFK and the Unspeakable: Why He Died and Why It Matters." The following are excerpts.

"John F. Kennedy was no saint. Nor was he any apostle of nonviolence. However, as we are all called to do, he was turning. Teshuvah, "turning," the rabbinic word for repentance, is the explanation for Kennedy's short-lived, contradictory journey toward peace. He was turning from what would have been the worst violence in history (note: he's referring to the brink of nuclear war with the Cuban missile crisis) toward a new, more peaceful possibility in his and our lives. He was therefore in deadly conflict with the Unspeakable.

"'The Unspeakable' is a term Thomas Merton coined at the heart of the sixties after JFK's assassination--in the midst of the escalating Vietnam War, the nuclear arms race, and the further assassinations of Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, and Robert Kennedy. In each of these soul-shaking events Merton sensed an evil whose depth and deceit seemed to go beyond the capacity of words to describe....

"The Unspeakable is not far away. It is not somewhere out there, identical with a government that became foreign to us. The emptiness of the void, the vacuum of responsibility and compassion, is in ourselves. Our citizen denial provides the ground for the government's doctrine of 'plausible deniability.' John F. Kennedy's assassination is rooted in our denial of our nation's crimes in World War II that began the Cold War and the nuclear arms race. As a growing precedent to JFK's assassination by his own national security state, we U.S. citizens supported our government when it destroyed whole cities (Hamburg, Dresden, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki), when it protected our Cold War security by world-destructive weapons, and when it carried out the covert murders of foreign leaders with 'plausible deniability' in a way that was obvious to critical observers. By avoiding our responsibility for the escalating crimes of state done for our security, we who failed to confront the Unspeakable opened the door to JFK's assassination and its cover-up. The Unspeakable is not far away."

Nothing like the lab vs bat debate illustrates the utter disinterest in examining the outlandish tenets of virology.

Lab leak theory grants people permission to blame China for their own readiness to embrace the global mass-delusion.

I’m still not certain there was a mass conspiracy to employ the threat of an alleged pathogen in order to consolidate power.

    Occam’s Razor still points to Hanlon’s Razor. Fear-based mass-stupidity.
