So, let’s discuss the facts Garland would be looking into. Trump was recorded on a call with the Georgia Secretary of State asking the SOS to find him 11,000 votes so he could win the state. In the same call, Trump told the SOS that he could be prosecuted. Where was the SOS going to find 11,000 votes that Trump didn’t get? What does that say about Trump’s intent? Isn’t that worth investigating? Why did Trump post that Mike Pence did not have courage to do what was right at the exact moment they were trying to get him out of his office at the Capital and into a safe location when the Capital was breached? Why didn’t Trump lift a finger for 3 hours to say or do anything to defend the Capital after he sent a mob he knew was armed to go to the Capital and “fight?” His words. And what was his involvement in the attempt to present fake electors to the Congress on 1-6? Electors who had not been submitted by the states. AG Alvin Bragg was the person who refused to charge Jakubonis. He was released with no charge and no bail. Jakubonis had a small knife and was stabbing at Lee Zeldin's neck. He used a deadly weapon in the attack so this should be attempted murder.
add in the fact that if he does run, he has to cede control of the $100M PAC that he now has control of. Rationally, one would think he would retire as a kingmaker with a pardon for his crimes and continue to grift off the PAC. I read an article that said AG Alvin Bragg did NOT charge the attacker. There appears to be different reports on charged or not charged. What isn't in dispute is that the attacker had his hands on Zelden and was swinging at his throat with a small knife and that he was back on the streets by the next morning. It's a disgraceful mockery of justice.
