Pardon me. Please feel free to block my views if they affect your sensitivities. I'd much rather stick to discussing the topic which in this case is not a thread I started.
That's what they should do if alternative views upset them. I'm not going to change so please block away.
I probably will end up having to block you if you start junking up more threads the way you have this one.
Your unwillingness to change is not the "own" you think it is. Being inexorable is a sign of weakness and a signal that nobody should interact with you. Also, I bet your "alternative views" cannot withstand evidence based scrutiny. Because Let's Go Brandon, amirite?
I can speak only for myself. My posts have been almost exclusively aimed at Donald Trump. Not "everything is a threat to our democracy"; only Trump and his enablers are. What happened leading up to, on, and subsequent to January 6 is the second worst internal threat American democracy has ever faced. Trump refused to transfer power and, indeed, tried to block it. He put the life of the VP in danger. One could go on and one. If you can't see and lament how Trump has sullied American democratic norms, then I'm awfully disappointed in you. We can disagree about policy. We can't disagree about this, and I'll have nothing further to say about it.
This thread is about The AG not ruling out prosecuting Trump for any criminal conduct found while Trump perpetrated the the lie that the election was stolen. I am sure now that you agree that Biden was elected without massive voter fraud or compromised voting machines. Right? So, depending on the evidence developed, I am sure you agree that nobody is above the law. Not even the president.
Spoken like someone who would rat out a neighbor for violating covid directives. Ever wonder how Russia became enslaved by communism? The people were complicit.
I could have also have also posted this in the Ron DeSantis presidential thread or the thread indicating loss of support for Trump within the Republican Party. In several other posts I have suggested that Trump would fight to the very end even if he loses the nomination to DeSantis. I now believe there is a real possibility that Trump could end up endorsing DeSantis in exchange for the promise of a blanket pardon for all federal crimes for which Trump has been indicted, convicted or and may be facing charges for the commission thereof not unlike the blanket pardon President Gerald Ford issued on behalf of Richard Nixon.
I'm sure you would agree that the sitting POTUS should not be using the US KGB, DOJ/FBI, as a blunt force instrument on political opponents: President Biden on Twitter: "Brave women and men in uniform across America should never forget that the defeated former president of the United States watched January 6th happen and didn’t have the spine to act. In my remarks today to @noblenatl, I made that clear: https://t.co/pQ8E4IcZR1 https://t.co/uO60QO0Wrz" / Twitter This is exactly why Merrick Garland opened a political witch hunt that will amount to nothing. The democrats think themselves the judge, jury, and executioner. They tried this with the Russia Hoax and two failed impeachments as Trump was acquitted by both trials. Never mind that the senate 1/6 report and the DOD 1/6 report found none of these charges to be true. Only the house partisan joke 1/6 committee is dragging its feet rather than wrapping up while accepting hearsay testimony that no court will allow. Joe Biden is apparently drugged up to read his teleprompter. Notice Ole Joe goes something like 45 seconds without blinking his eyes while reading. It begs the question of who is actually running the White House?
Oh boy would we get a 10K bounty for it like the Cons are setting up for the abortion issue or it that just for maga?
That is a logical fallacy. Biden stating that trump failed to act on Jan 6 prior to Garland hinting that the DOJ may prosecute trump is not evidence that Biden directed Garland. That's some juicy post hoc ergo propter hoc. The DOJ has been investigating the participants in the storming of the Capitol as well as the fake elector scheme for a least a year.
Not at all actually. I was a GOP voter until 2016. Voted for one dem in my life up to that point. Then folks like you took over the GOP and I no longer had a party. But hey, I can't change your mind on anything, so you think what you want about me.
